As a spray tech on a golf course we are federally regulated on what we can spray and how much and how often. Also, story time: I was yelled at one morning by a home owner bc we were blowing leaves off the green at 7:30 am. She was upset bc she had just gotten back from Europe and was trying to sleep. I was polite and told her it was either going to be mowers or blowers. Side note: we start at 6 am, she lived on #14. That’s something to think about when thinking about living near a golf course. Some start even earlier.
Yes, I’ve heard people talking about how mad they are that landscapers are out there making noise so early… they can’t do this while people are golfing. 😊
Thanks for convincing me that when I inevitably move to Queen Valley, to go with my initial plan to live on the outskirts since ill be the only person moving there for the off-roading and not the golf lol.
Beware! I live in a condo complex alongside a golf course driving range and a golf ball just went through my big window; two weeks later, a broken pottery planter. Costly damage to the five buildings, all along the driving range. Golf course is taking no responsibility for the damages.
Did you deliberately leave out the damage done to windows and home exterior? Oh and how about it being a gentlemans sport but most will not fess up to damage and offer to replace/repair?

after having lived in several of them, my biggest complaints is the constant landscape noise
Yep, mine too! It was ok, but it was one of the things I disliked the most.

LOL, you're welcome :-)

Yikes, sorry to hear that! Yes often the golf courses are not responsible for the damage...

Why would someone repair your house? You’re the one that bought a house on the golf course
Golfers aren’t responsible unless they deliberately do damage. Depending on the course it falls on either the homeowner or the golf course
