Reminds me of one of the greatest scenes with Batman ever.
Green Lantern and Batman are in the sewers investigating Darkseid's monsters, and Green Lantern asks Batman about his superpowers. Batman says he has none, and Green Lantern, dumbfounded, then asks "wait, you're not just some guy in bat costume, are you?" To which Batman simply turns around, gives Green Lantern a cocky smirk, and keeps on walking.

One of the things that I like so much about Batman is the fact that he's a guy in a Bat costume and yet he's one of the most prolific, feared and Legen-waitforit-DARY heroes in Comicdom ever! From my childhood till today Batman was, is and will always be my superhero. He is a mortal with no super powers yet he as strong as Superman,because unlike other superheroes he had gone through a lot of things that we did.Losing parents, surviving all by himself, losing everyone he loved,and yet he keeps fighting for the right cause..We all in a way can relate to him in some way.
Superman said it himself: "That man won't quit as long as he can still draw a breath."

I can't believe it's been ten years now since this video came out. Now that I mentioned it, I think it's time for me to say this:
This tribute video holds a special place in every Batman fan's heart, especially mine. And I can see why - It represents Batman in a way we see him, both his achievements and his flaws. Some say he's a superhero, but he's doesn't see himself that way. A guardian yes, and he is indeed a master of martial arts and of deductions, but he's only human. A man who who wears a bat costume to fight crime and to try and make his home a better place. He gained allies, lost allies and made many enemies in his career. All his life he's been fighting, fighting so that no one will end up like his parents. And this tribute somes it up.
I can never count how many times I watched this video after the first time I saw it. Since then, I listened to It's Not My Time by 3 Doors Down whenever I go out or when I'm on the internet and when I feel like watching the video, I do so. I watch it whenever I have it in my head, I watched it in memory of the greatest Batman actor of all time and now I'm watching the video to celebrate its tenth year.
All I can say is "Thank you for creating such a phenomenal tribute to the dark knight himself."

They do get along, BvS was a bad film and should be ignored, injustice is an alternate timeline which was created as an excuse for the characters to fight in a dc style mortal kombat game , they have a tenuous relationship at first in most continuities including the main ones but after awhile they become best friends

You know when you think about it there has to be at least some versions of Batman that must have every form of survivor's guilt. As a child he was too weak to do anything to help save his parents, as a mentor he ledd Robbins into dangerous situations and was unable to prevent his wardd a child from being killed by a Psychopath, and as a protector he hasn't always been able to save everyone he tried to save.
Sounds like Val Kilmer's Batman from "Batman Forever". A Batman with survivor's guilt at least has a chance to process his emotions and begin healing.
There are many interpretations of Batman's trauma where Batman has been constantly experiencing the moment where "that man with the gun just killed my mom and dad" since he was eight years old.
That type of Batman would also be completely unable to process grief or experience joy or love anyone deeply.
