    I ended up buying one. I was looking for an endgame mouse, something that was perfect for me. I really loved the Glorious Series One Pro, which is the same shape, but was let down by QC issues and somewhat dated specs. Other small mice, like the Lamzu Atlantis Mini, just didn't do it for me, the HTX was too small, the HTS+ was too tall. So it really came down to this shape. If it can stop me from buying every other small mouse on the market then it's money well spent. I don't have any QC issues with mine, only downside for me is the battery life isn't wonderful. I went from a full charge down to 42% at the end of the next day, and that's at 2khz, not 4 or 8. Other than that I have no complaints, I'm happy with my purchase, even happier now that I see the Razer Cobra which appears to be replacing the mini, at 60g and with rubber sides I really don't have any interest in it.

    I'm really interested to hear your clicks are too tight. I got one from the second batch they just dropped and my clicks are so light I'm always getting accidental clicks. I wonder if the inconsistency in these mice comes from the fact they are made out of magnesium. I have seen so many reviewers with different issues with this mouse it is kind of crazy. Great review BTW!

    its the only wireless mouse that supports 8k polling, and it comes with the dongle and 2 sets of mouse skates + grip tape and 3 yr warranty. considering all that its actually not the worst price if you like the viper mini shape and you can expect a lil more issues with a super early production one like yours. 2 sets of skates =$15 each then around $10 grip tape and $30 dongle thats $70 right there so youre really only paying $210 for a magnesium mouse...easily justifiable price imo for the ONLY 8k wireless mouse and magnesium.

    I've owned both the GPX Superlight and Viper V2 Pro and other mice. I primarily finger tip grip, and have 18x10 hands. Would you recommend this still? The original Viper Mini I constantly kept coming back to but feeling like something was missing, maybe it was the sensor or just the stupid LOD causing inconsistency. I just don't feel like spending hundreds of dollars on several different mice and not finding the one I truly want. Rather just spend it all, get some cool additional things, and never have to worry again. How would it hold up in the near future? As far as I'm aware, mice technology is kind of coming to a standstill, and there's not much to improve. My biggest regret is spending 300$ combined on the two biggest mice in the market that are only recommended because they're safe options. It's actually kinda dumb. The V2 Pro was kinda uncomfortable after a while, and the GPX was perfect to grip but just had old technology and an automatic LOD adjustor that made everything worse
    I don't care if it's 300 dollars. People on r/mousereview have 15 different mouses in their dusty drawers that they stopped using because they kept finding new endgames.

      I would say for serious gamers, weight for the viper mini pro they promised. Its a good mouse, but i wont say its worth it

    • @Billy_The_Frog
      @Billy_The_Frog Год назад

      You need to consider that there's a chance that you may regret spending $300 on a single metal mouse that performs the same and may have the same QC issues as a plastic mouse, especially since you sound like you weren't completely satisfied with the original viper mini. You should also consider if you like the viper mini because you truly like the shape, or if its the only small mouse you have tried. You can specifically identify, shape-wise, what you like and don't like about the v2 pro and gpx and then find the shape you think you will prefer by looking at more reviews and mouse dimensions. As an ex-viper mini user, I personally recommend the lamzu atlantis mini as an alternative because of its suitable shape for fingertip/claw, good specs, and reasonable pricing. If you strictly adhere by the viper mini shape but are patient enough, you could wait for them to release a plastic version which they said is on its way (who knows when tho). Otherwise, it would be good to consider other mice shapes as well. Still, go ahead with the viper mini SE if you see its shape being your endgame and don't really care about getting value out of your purchase.

    Let’s be real Lamzu Atlantis Mini knocks this out in many ways mainly being the price. Weight is about the same, better side buttons (as mentioned in the video), much better feeling clicks, a shell without holes (which Razer literally made fun of having holes in a mouse???) , and a decent enough sensor that will make you perform equally as good as the Razer Sensor with motion sync (be fr that ain’t getting you to radiant any time sooner).

If you have unlimited budget than its worth it. But definetelly not the best buy. Mice like the htx 4k or the atlantis mini 4k do the job just as well.

    For those who want a cheaper(WAY CHEAPER) alternative to this mouse, check out the steelseries aerox 3 wireless. Similar shape and size with all the features you would want in a gaming mouse. I got mine a few months ago and i absolutely love it! The shape of this mouse is perfect and feels like the old viper mini but just wireless. A small downside is the side buttons which are inset into the mouse and take a bit of effort to press; but then again the viper signature edition has the same problem. If you're planning on getting one, just make sure you get the 2022 edition which is drastically different to the old aerox 3. It solves a lot of the problems that the old mouse had and now comes with 100% virgin PTFE feet.

    • @KrabReviews
      @KrabReviews 11 месяцев назад

      It is not similar to that mouse. Aerox 3 is bigger and heavier. The side buttons on the aerox 3 are awful. Skates are decent. But not similar to the viper at all. The side buttons on the viper mini se are not hard to press but they do have some side wobble. Not horrible tho. The shape to the aerox is longer and wider than the viper. I dont know how you compared the shape of the aerox to the viper mini. They arent similar. But a mouse that is similar is the glorious series one pro. Which is identical to the viper mini. If you can snag one up you will be getting the same shape. The internals wont be as good as the se. But the glorious series one pro is only 120 dollars compared to 280. but if you are looking for a viper mini shape then that would be the way to go. Just for the people who are looking for a viper mini wireless. Not saying that the aerox 3 is bad. It also has its issues. One would be build quality. Just dont want people mislead.

  • @nukert658
    @nukert658 Год назад

    I don't mind the SE to be released and it does mostly (not entirely) justify the price with what it includes and the fact that it's intended as a limited edition luxury item and why not make it.. there's a market for it. My issues with it is A: no way should this have been the FIRST viper mini wireless edition released when so many people have been asking for it pretty much since its OG release. B: you could have cut down on the cost and bring it out of the realm of ridiculous by selling the 4k adapter separately and IDK maybe make the 4k dongle so many of us have for viper 2 compatible with the SE so we don't HAVE to buy it if we already have it or are just fine using 1khz and while the box is nice and definitely adds to that "I just bought a limited edition luxury item feel" it also adds more cost and realistically isn't necessary. This is a mouse, and it should be on the desk being used not in a fancy box as a display piece.
