- In this video, I compare the Xiaomi Mijia version 1 and version 2 air pumps and show you the differences and improvements. The new version 2 is twice as fast at inflating car tires, which makes checking and correcting air pressure at home much more convenient. Be sure to buy the correct version, as there is also a version 1S that is often sold as version 2. Follow the link in the video description to get the correct version: technickr.clic... ¹
In this video you will learn:
👉 The differences between the three versions (1, 1S and 2) of the Xiaomi Mijia air pump.
👌 How you can tell the different versions apart from each other.
⏱️ A comparison of the inflation speeds of version 1 and version 2.

I bought mine from aliexpress where it was 25% cheaper than ebay or amazon. It was entirely chinese branded on the box and instructions so I half expected to have bought a 1S by mistake. I'm happy to see it is indeed a 2 based on your comparison.
I got mine from AliExpress aswell it doesn’t have the power button logo on it but other then that it looks like the 2
There is also a "2" version that doesn't have the power symbol in the middle of the buttons like the one on this video 2:07 but has the vents and battery indicator on lcd display. Also that version does not include ths usb c cable they sold it as "chinesse version". Looks like there is 4 versions of this product: 1, 1S, 2, 2S and of course the fake ones LOL. Thanks for the video.
Can you charge it from powerbank while in use?
No, as soon you plugin a usbc cable, it shuts off.
Thank you for this!
I am glad it helped.
Hello friends, how easy is this stuff for car/motor bike tires. Is it easy use. How long takes pomping 0 - 2.9 bar. After that can you pump another tire, or first charging. Some practical users information pls.
Hi i bought version 2. When i connect it to tire psi is going down and i can hear air noice from its air wholes on it (not from air cable). Is it like that on yours?
this should not happen
Thank you very much thisis very helpful
👍
Hi, thanks for the review. Can I use a compressor like this to also remove air from tires to a certain pressure? Doing some trackdays from time to time and would be helpful.
@@bogdandinu503 no, this isnt possible
why on Amazon people reported 3 minutes for inflating tires?
Define "inflating" - from which point on, what size, what volume, what psi?
@@TechnickrGlobal you're right, my question wasn't smart 😀, sorry about that. I basically wanted to buy this portable device, checked Amazon Germany and saw a couple of complaints regarding the timing of bicycle tires, which I think is around 2 bars or 30 psi. They say it took it around 3 minutes.
The title of the product reads: Xiaomi Mijia 2 Portable Electric Air Pump Air Compressor 2 Comes from Xiaomi, for Car Tyres, Mini Bicycle Pump with LED Light, Battery 2000 mAh, 150 PSI Tyre Pump for Bicycle, Car, Motorcycle, Ball.
@@kavorka8855 i still cant relate in general to that question because there bikes with thin and small tyres and Fatbikes with fat huge tyres. The pump is still slow, yes, but its the fastest i have tried with a battery. If you need a faster one, then you should look for some with compressed air balloons. This balloons are reinflattable an the gas station (sometimes).
Be also aware of the 3 different versions of the pump and that people may got wrong versions. There are sellers, who do this on purpose.
I just got my Air Pump 2 and I checked my bike tyre pressure with the pump and it was 30,40 PSI (front and back). But I've already told them to fill up 28,32 PSI previous day in garage. Now I wondering aren't they fill up the tyre just I told them to or is there something wrong with the accuracy of the Mijia Pump 2? But I've checked with the Mijia Pump 2 several times and reading was same.
Are you aware that the pressure do vary greatly depending on the temperature, especially in tires with low air volume? After all, we are talking only about 2 PSi.
It depends on many factors from temp and weather to tyre temp... the difference in 28 to 30 psi is no big deal but from 32 to 40 psi is... maybe they forgot the psi you told them or their manometer is not very accurate... xiaomi says the airpump 2 is accurate to the point of ±1 psi.
Problem solved. It was definitely they're mistake. I've been using this pump for several times with different motorcycle tyres and rating was the same. And it's working pretty well.
Hi man, nice video. I wondering if this device produces water same as conventional compressor?
@@Feddyka-j9z water?
@@TechnickrGlobal yep, conventional compressor do produces some water. Just wondering about this one since it's not "Compressed" air
@@Feddyka-j9z 🤷🏻♂
I bought the 1S for myself over a year ago and then at Christmas (2023) I bought my brother-in-law the 2.
I had to buy it directly from Xiaomi since it was the only way I could be sure to get the correct model. I think some were being mis-sold as model 2 on some 3rd sites.
Absolutely yes. It was very difficult for me too to get sure it was the 2. And i have also seen reviews of the 2, where they have been reviewing the 1s.
Thnx❤
Hello, I will buy this product too, but if I don't have a 1s one, is it the 2 series one?
I have shown & told you alle the differencies of all three models availiable in this video.
how much
Depends where you are from.

Muchas Gracias por contestar!! 👍👍
Là khi vặn vào lốp xe máy.nó tự động báo áp suất thực tế sau đó mình bấm bơm thì tới mức đó tự tắt ( là nó tự cộng số áp suất thiếu từ số cài đặt sẵn. hay mình phải tự cộng thêm vào số thiếu còn lại và chỉnh mức tương ứng.( ví dụ vặn vào máy đo đc 1.5 thì mình chỉnh 0.9 nữa cho ra 2.4 bab chẳng hạn)
sorry, but I dont understand your language
No, if you plug it in the tyre and the tyre shows 1.9 bar and you want 2.5 bar, you simply set the device at 2.5 bar and it goes there.
hi, I have a question. In the xiaomi air pump 2, electric scooter tyre pressure is at default 50 psi, which I tried to convert to bar is 3.44738 according to google conversion. I checked my vespa lx125 manual, it says front tyre pressure 1.6 bar while rear tyre pressure 2.0 bar.
I am puzzled as in why does my electric scooter required twice the air pressure of my vespa scooter tyre? Can anyone help me to understand?
Each tyre needs a different pressure, depending on how the tyre is build, the size of the tyre and what it should compensate. psi/bar are not the volume of an tyre. Your scooter has much smaller tyres, so there is less space for compressing from obstacles - therefor, the tyre has to be harder, which is leading to higher pressure. Bytheway, the Mijia Pump can be set in bar and psi.
@@TechnickrGlobal Thanks Nick for the explanation.. the bar setting cannot be set lowered than 1.8 bar?
@@dclee9836 it seems so, but you dont need to reach the limit and can stop it manually
@@TechnickrGlobal may I ask how to stop it manually? which button do I have to press? sorry my manual is in chinese, I can't read
@@dclee9836 just press the center button again
Excellent comparison. Thank you!
Thanks
How is the precision of the meter on it?
I dont have a comparison, but my car shows similar Bar.
what is the serial of the 2?
so ill be able to check by that
Serials are individual
