    One of my most favorite movies ever. I'm sorry for your loss. This would've been my grandmother's birthday.
    My brother's been gone for 40 years. Everyone else before I was 21.
    How about The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption (same novelist, same screenwriter-director, some of the same cast).

Weird, I know. Anyways, I absolutely love this movie. When I sww it in the cinema it blew me away. The way they turned it into a sci-fi thriller is so cool.

      @@miraculousladybug713 My older brother passed away in Dec 1989 in a car accident when I was 10 and He was 19... my heart breaks for you. I know that pain all too well. It doesn't get easier, but you learn a new normal. Anyway, I guess it was about 11-12 years ago, something like that, it just so happened to be the anniversary of his passing and I watched Charlie St Cloud (not knowing what is was about) for the first and last time. Needless to say I was a wreck and it hit way too close to home for me. That day changed me as a person, and being 10 at the time, I didn't realize that. Now, as an adult, there's not a whole lot that really gets me into that state you see at the end, but when/if it does, its 30+ years that comes flooding back. I don't know why I am telling you this other than I guess it's comforting in a way to talk to others that have gone through it sometimes. My prayers are with you and sending love and light your way. ❤

      @ItsTaraAnn damn. Big hugs for you girl. That movie got me too, very emotional. I was also 10 when my brother passed away, he was 17. Frequency is a great movie, but cruel at the time making me think what if I could change it. I also saw Jack Frost for the first time that winter... the amount of time I sat in front of a snowman at 10, just waiting... sad to think about. You're so right about time passing... the worst for me was 2 different points... me reaching the age where I was now older than him, and hitting the point where he has been gone longer than he was alive. Something just, I don't know, tragic about those 2 events for me. Do you know what I mean? It doesn't get easier, just different. I am less bitter about it now, so I guess that's easier. 💜

    • @ItsTaraAnn
      @ItsTaraAnn 4 месяца назад +1

      @@miraculousladybug713 I totally get it!! I was bitter for a long time because I didn't understand anything or my feelings, but that lessened as I got older. He had taken me to see Prancer in the theaters one of the last times I saw him, and I am pretty sure I have never watched it since. I catch myself wondering what he would be like today if he were still here. And his gf that was in the truck with him is still close with our family and I can't help but call her my sister and her kids are my nieces and nephews. I definitely hang on to the good memories I have and I "talk" to him almost daily, which has been a self soothing thing when things get hard. I fully believe that they send us messages to let us know they are still here with us just in another form, and I get those messages all the time.
