    The small circles are hard to do for me. I'd like to see you do one of the small ones.

      It is quite challenging to create an eyelet with really small circles, so just skip making the hole and embroider with the satin stitch.

    is that the same way you do the edging all around?

    • @lillukacrafts312
      @lillukacrafts312  3 года назад +1

      This video demonstrated creating the holes for the kit you purchased. For the edging, check out the Blanket Stitch Border or the Padded Blanket Stitch Border videos. So yes, the edging goes all around the embroidery. Let me know if I've answered your question.

    How do you know how much embroidery thread you need or is it still attached to the roll ?

    • @lillahorvath7385
      @lillahorvath7385 Год назад +2

      Knowing how much thread you will need comes with practice and experience, and even then, it's sometimes hard to know. I keep several balls of thread on hand at so I don't run out mid-project. When I make a prototype of an embroidery kit, I keep track of the thread on a notepad as I embroider. When someone buys one of my kits, I know how much thread to put into the kit. I hope I was able to answer your question.

      I use a 20” length which does up to 3 holes.

    Can we do this cutwork on organza material?

    • @lillahorvath7385
      @lillahorvath7385 Год назад

      I've never tried it. I only embroider on cotton. But it would be possible as organza has a tight enough weave. The only way to find out is to try it.

    • @lillukacrafts312
      @lillukacrafts312  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, just need to do it with thinner thread like DMC 6-strand floss, using only one or two threads in the needle at a time.
