    I was waiting for your next performance, wondering if it could be better than the previous ones... and wow. Just wow. Your way to transpose this incredible and complex pieces of music on that telecaster simply amazes me. And your way of playing, so natural and spontaneous yet so precise, shows all of your sensibility with music and the measure of your skills. Now i almost can't listen anymore to the original version of the Claire de Lune. I wish there were more artists like you in here, so please, don't stop playing for us. And thanks, sincerely.

      Everything I wanted to say. I too can't listen to anything but guy's version of claire du lune. Most mornings, I start the day with it. Making tea while the early morning light filters through into the kitchen and Claire du lune fills the room...

    Your guitar makes my brain tingle
    like the days first cigarette.
    Fills me with regret
    of all the days I wasted
    like a couch eating a pringle

    I don't know if you'll read this because it's been a while since you uploaded, but I just wanted to say that this video made me cry. I found your channel because of the Debussy video and was so excited to see Brahms, my favorite composer. Your style of playing is so soft and tender, and it fits the tone of this piece so very well. Thank you for uploading, please share more! ❤

    Man, you are great! You were able to figure out how to play with a pick and the little finger, I never saw this before. I don't play classical anymore, but trying to play with a classical right hand "philosophy". You are officialy my current hero! Good job man!

    I've been cascading through various tunings on my guitar, and have, for now at least, landed upon an all fifths two course reentry, F2 C3 G2 D3 A3 E4. It's been a struggle, grappling with it, the voicing and what not. Your performances on here, although a bit sideways from what I'm up to, have given me a helpful nudge, down my absurd little path. Thank you for that gift to us.

    Very good... I understand you also wrote the arrangement and the result is very pleasant to hear and very interesting to watch: so many different techniques to get the piece done, which sounds passionate and educated at the same time. And very Musical: very very good 😊.

    +1 to this whole idea, classical guitar on electric with hybrid picking. This is a good idea. Why don't more people do this? I want to do La Catedral. That opening part is going to be so easy with a cutaway...

    I use a 7 string guitar to play (sometimes) some of classical music pieces, because the main issue with them is reaching the right bass notes. You instead can do all with a 6 string, which is a much harder work for sure! Do you use standard tuning or something else?

    • @guylevinberg1093
      @guylevinberg1093  Год назад +1

      Thank you for the comment! Yeah that wide range is really challenging, i use standard tunings usually but sometimes a drop D and recently been experimenting with the high E tuned to F#.

    Thanks to RUclips I came across your channel. It's great! I' m also working on the beauty of playing the picked western guitar with that classical, impressionistic approach.
    I had the chance to play with Ulug Ozkan, a Turkish electric guitar pioneer und virtuoso, who ingrained modern classical music into his playing: ruclips.net/video/1m36JAel0WI/видео.html
    Unfortunately, nobody knows him...
