Thanks for the great feedback and thanks for watching Vassmotorsports, I cut out alot of footage cause it was gonna be about 45 minutes haha , sometimes I like to go into detail incase someone wants to actually learn to do same procedure, or show some of the things that don't go as planned, again thanks
thanks for that. and thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos, this is one of the system I custom designed and installed on it last year ruclips.net/video/Ojmw-rAwYVg/видео.htmlsi=r5ypW-iavoQW6b_Z. and this is the install in detail ruclips.net/video/iuQLBe74jrI/видео.htmlsi=dBo6dpD4v8ltJ847
hahaha, this was my first time ever messing with one and if i didnt have to lift the motor and V-drive to fix the engine oil leak this would have been a pretty quick easy job. even the shop only quoted around 3 hrs so i knew it couldn't be bad , thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos sometime, did you see where i installed my custom system in this beautiful boat to make her over the top ? ruclips.net/video/Ojmw-rAwYVg/видео.htmlsi=qn8nIIIg4CJ21w76
Oh yes it was. Even all the wake boards and jackets ,fenders that were in the storage areas I had to crawl into, definitely a learning experience. Thanks for watching
I have a 2023 nautique air and i have what seems like water coming into my aft ballast tank area. Any suggestions as to where the leak may be originating from?
difficult to say without checking the boat out good. his was even leaking on the rudder mounting plate the bolts were loose thru the floor. he damaged the prop the other day so i put on the trailer to replace it and noticed the mount holding the prop shaft had a little play the same way.so i had to put sealer and retighten those bolts thru the floor , could even be a cooling line for the engine or if the bags and those systems not winterized properly could have a leak there also, hope ya get it figured out and thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos
@@Vassmotorsports thank you for responding. We are still trying to diagnose the leak… when we put the boat in the water after drying it out completely we heard a glub glub sound which was substantial water coming into the vessel from the front of the boat. Any ideas with this newer information?
@@alwayslearning1587 no sorry i dont especially sounds like its pretty bad and from front theres no hull thru fittings so id have to assume something with the front ballast or hose to it , there is a cut off valve for each hose and bag on the sea-cock coming thru the floor so try turning it off (or all 3) and see if it makes a difference
not for the dripless shaft seal ,although good thing i did as someone before left some trans mount bots out and loose ,but i did have to for the oil leak on the assembly for the remote filter and cooler on the engine ,thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos like the custom stereo system i installed in this wake boat
its actually not that bad. was my first time working on such an expensive boat and never on a wake boat so i was intimedated at first. then turned out being simple. I knew when one place quoted me a few hrs labor it couldn't be bad. the prop is probably hardest part haha. i just rigged up my puller instead of buying one , put some pressure and smack it good on the back side to jar it loose
Thanks for sharing, I'm doing my tides marine seals on my cruisers, yatchts 330 express next year that has twin engines, do you know what the colar on the shaft is , mine has them on , I thought it was a spare seal carrier but no such luck .
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
glad if it helped , good luck with your project, thanks for watching Vassmotorsports and hope ya check out some of my other videos sometime

When I get back from Florida I'll be taking it back to Robbi and she be back where she belongs, on the water. Can't wait
And that, class, is why we be hatin’ on them ebbil v-drives. Knuckle busting, cuss word provoking, hot, sweaty, nightmare.

@@Vassmotorsports thank you again! Im the wife and im trying to help my husband. Appreciate you.🌸
What were the symptoms that made you change out the Prop Shaft Seal?
Did you have to lift the motor to access the seal?
