Enjoyed the interview. It was a great story on membership, diversity, the quality profession, and ASQ's fundamental directions. However, it still misses the boat on how CEOs and top-level corporate executives can make quality a priority in any field of endeavor. Without their buy-in, we will still have the problems cited in this interview such as J&J's stumble regarding COVID vaccines and baby formula, Boeing's issues with regards to the 737 max, and many others. I wish Quality Digest would ask the tough questions regarding not just the quality profession, but ways to obtain corporate buy-in. That seems to be the elephant in the room and perhaps the trade group, ASQE, could play a big role in making that (corporate buy-in) happen.
