I can’t believe this is the last show. I am really going to miss hearing your voice and asking those great questions Craig. I hope you will reconsider continuing something like this in the future. Thanks for all the great memories. Oh well, at least you left us with a comprehensive archive we can go back and listen to. You will truly be missed.🥲🥲
I love this interview. I play all Johns songs over and over started listening to his music over 20 years ago and I do know The Day I Die it’s on my playlist. If G-D made you he’s in Love with Me, helped me through difficult times and happy times. He made my day having the opportunity to meet him and hang out with him and his band in Orlando this year which was the same venue I saw him live over 20 years ago…I’m a fan and will continue to listen to your upcoming interviews 🎶🎼🎹🌎
You have created an amazing legacy with these interviews, Craig! No matter what the future holds, I am sure it is looking good with your drive and passion.
Hi Craig. Thsnks for an excellent series of interviews over the years. We all appreciate your work. My personal favourite interview would have to be Richard Bennett. What a life he's had. All the best to you for the next venture!
Thanks for your kind words @kencooke8139, appreciate it and your wishes. Richard Bennett is a lovely person and has had one of THE most successful session / touring careers of all 950 guests I had on the show. All the best to you and yours and thanks for listening 👍🏻🎸♫
Craig - I love, love, LOVE your show & all that you’ve done for us. Your thoughts, & especially the insights you have elicited from guitarists, have calibrated me & kept me company on more days than you may ever realize. (That was even more true during the pandemic). I hope that all your next life-steps have you thriving. You deserve it!! (Will you still be doing MusicLicensingProfits?).
ahh Craig, are you really serious brother about this IS the last ELG show? i mean far be it that i or anyone else try to convince you otherwise, you gotta do what you gotta do and i totally understand life's priorities and such, family time being just one of them, but you do such a damn good job in your interviews my friend, that's why we keep coming back. man i truly hope that everything is ok with you and your family, are YOU ok brother? if this is really the last, then i (and all of us) are certainly going to miss you Craig, i mean that from the heart my friend... maybe you could plan in advance and do a live show some weekend to wrap it all up and us diehards could chime in and chat with ya a little, no set topics, just shootin' the shit like we were all at the corner bar enjoying each others company, doin' a shot, and sendin' you off in style-lol, if for anything, maybe just for some closure to an awesome fucking show and guy that you are. just a thought brother. it's kinda sad to see you end it.
Jerry, thanks so much for your kind words man. Yes, I am totally 100% ok thank God, as is everyone in my family. Thanks for asking. You know how things come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime...? Well, Everyone Loves Guitar came into my life for a reason and a season, and now the season's over. I loved doing every show and I truly appreciate your comments and thanks so much for listening. I'm glad I got to spread a little love around and I hope people felt it As to a live Q & A or something like that... let me think about it. I'm certainly not bashful but I've always tried to NOT be the center of attention on the show. And that's because it was always about my guest, and about the show. But also because... I'm not really someone who even remotely craves attention. As anyone who follows me on social media knows lol. I don't even have social media on my phone actually :-) Thanks again man, your comments were heartfelt and thoughtful. And for the record, if we are having shots, I'm having Michters Whiskey or La Gritona Tequila. Peace brother...
@@EveryoneLovesGuitar….I just found your RUclips channel today Sunday 9/22/24, Gainesville Florida USA I’m a 60 dishwasher at an Pizza/Italian restaurant. I saw the RUclips suggestion that the show was 3-1/2 hours long & I listened to the whole thing at work and it passed the time quick. Then I listened to 3 more shows. The 4 walls of Rayford story had me almost crying. You are an excellent interviewer. I’m about to start a Bible podcast. Pass some love & Blessings on to my podcast please. Love you.
@@EveryoneLovesGuitar You're probably right Craig, but the show just gets better and better...great interesting entertainment...you're the best interviewer ever and will be sadly missed, life won't be the same...anything else lined up for us?
