Our weekend was spent hiking, eating and swimming in the beautiful St. Croix beaches. We take you along with us to simple island living and our minimalist lifestyle. 1 month ago, we arrived to our new home with 3 bags, having sold the rest of our worldly possessions and lead a very modest daily life. We like to focus on family, good food and adventures! This past weekend, we celebrated J's 32nd birthday with a hike to Annaly Bay with our new friend to swim in the natural Carambola Tide pools. I would be just like you planting all kinds of stuff with that beautiful weather that you have. And please, keep giving us updates on how your garden is doing. I would love to see follow up videos on that. And all those mangoes on the ground just made me gasp. How sad to see all of them rotting on the ground when they're usually $1-$1.50 here in Colorado. =(

We have been looking at moving to St. Croix for about a year now. We have friends that recently moved there. In Dec. we are taking another Caribbean cruise and will be stopping on the island. We will be meeting with a real estate agent when we arrive. We are getting pretty serious about the move. I love the seclusion idea. And would love to live up on a mountain. Thank you for the great videos.

I used to live in Hawaii and feel it was similar with most people I grew up with not caring much about fancy things. Thanks for sharing! Hi, Danisa! The wahoo curry is pretty much a take on my Korean curry recipe and for the broccoli, I roast it at 450 for about 15 minutes with oil + s/p =)

We've actually spent less here than we ever have before. We've also had a ton of friends leave island because it was too expensive for them but it really does come down to how you live your life and what your priorities are. +two fast I personally like to roast mine high and fast around 450 for 15 minutes or so depending on how much you're roasting =)

+selenia carrico Hi, Selenia! Is the wind obscuring sound throughout the entire video for you? Or is it just pockets? The island has everything. I think it was my mama being sweet and sending us a care package. Certain things are more expensive but there are certainly ways around it {more in my upcoming e-book}
