I used to live in St. Croix as a kid, loved it. When I lived in NY, I used to visit my grandparents in the summer. I would love to retire there. The carribbean islands are so relaxing, even though I am from Trinidad, but my childhood memories are of St. Croix. One thing about island people, they are friendly and in a neighborhood, everyone knows each other. Unlike the U.S. you can live next to someone for a many years and not know them. If you see people outside in your neighborhood, they just wave or say hi. People in the U.S. live in fear.

Ripe bread fruit smoothie yum..I could eat breadfruit every day...bread fruit french fries once too.steam bread fruit with fresh catch fish broth mmmm

The last item is a "Golden Apple", when it's ripe it has a distinct sweet smell, on some varieties it ripens to bright yellow and the seed looks prickly
