Cassssieee trust me - DO NOT buy a house with someone you aren’t legally married to. MN might be different than where I live but when my ex and I split up with a joint house- I barely had any rights and he took all of my stuff and my dog. Splitting the house wasn’t straightforward because there wasn’t a divorce. It’s a nightmare.
This almost happened to my fiancée, he and his ex almost bought a house together bc she had bad debt from school, he ended compromising on a new build house that he didn’t really want to appease her and in the end she left with her ex to live in Denver and left him in debt with a house he wouldn’t have originally bought. 😅 I live in said house now and it’s so dark and sad and falling apart due to fast-shoddy construction 🥲🥲
@@thriftthickJust an FYI - I work in mortgage (have for 9 years). Just ensure you guys Vest the propertyTitle as “community property” -that way you are both 50/50 owners. You can either sell and each get your fair share of the equity OR one person could buy out the other person for their ownership percentage in the property. Ping me if you have any questions ❤
@@CaliforniaDreamin.what happens if one person wants to sell and the other doesn’t when split… this was an issue when I bought with my ex… that can really put life on hold
If you're going to buy a house, leave Dan out of it, or have Dan leave you out of it, you can add or be added to the mortgage later on after you get married-but yeah there's a pre-nup type situation for unmarried homeowners so if you do split you get whatever you put into the house you get it back etc. Also going into the next administration I don't think it will be affordable, cos prices may go down if there's a recession, but interest rates and property taxes are another thing.
If he got the ring for free and he can’t even be bothered to get it sized, he’s not going to do it. 2.5 years in at your age, that’s too long. He’s wasting your time and your biological clock is ticking.
Also Cassie, if you don’t think he will be a good dad right now, don’t have kids with him. You even saying right now that you would have to raise them alone speaks volumes.
Some guys just don't see it the way women do. As in, what's the rush if they're already living together and get along fine as is. My brother has been that way, and he was with his ex for over 8yrs, fully intended on being with her for the rest of their lives. They lived together and everything.
@@cadavher I think that’s different when both people agree to that set up. But if he promised and implied that he wanted to get married and has made no intention of getting the ball rolling, well, that’s a whole different story.
I initially was in relationships where things were in both our names or just in the mans name. I don't care what anyone says, a loan professional or otherwise.. get all that stuff in your name, keep your bank accounts separate, home & car in your name. It is a nightmare to get someone out of your home if you split, can be a fight over a vehicle and the person can DRAIN your bank accounts if they are shared. I wish someone would have told me this back then. Trust 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I really loved vlogmas this year!! I laughed at your proclivity to forget the advent calendar. You did better than us - we forgot to buy the darn thing altogether! 😂 So we lived vicariously through your cards and coins and keychains. Happy new year!!
Happy New Year Cassie 🎉🍾🥳💕. Thank you for the catch- up/check- in/ chat sesh😊💓. Wishing you, Dan, and the kits an exciting and happy year, filled with happiness, joy, good health, adventure, and an abundance of love 🥰💕💕
That would make sense, but I just got these glasses two days ago and the cheek pimples were there like a week before that 😅 thank you for the thought though!
When my husband asked me to marry him my ring didn't fit. We had to get it sized after. Love your glasses! I'm halfway through your video and wanted to say I've been getting alot of house or apartment search videos reccomended to me. You can show the places you are looking at inside dont show the front of it or say what area you are in. I highly doubt anyone could figure out where you are at as long as you don't show front of the house. I also watch people who decorate their porches and things for like the seasons or holidays they never show their house from the street or whole house. Its pretty safe to make those types of videos.
I'm glad other people have been able to be safe! People have found out about living situations from very minute house details though, so my paranoia won't allow me to show too much, unfortunately... Otherwise I'd love to show things!
@ I understand how you feel. Maybe you could do like a video of places you looked at but didn’t get. I’ve seen those types of videos too. It’s kind of fun to see what houses look like in other states. I live in Florida and haven’t been up north in ages. I hope you guys can find a place you love and to make sure the heat and air is in good shape. We bought a brand new build house almost 4 years ago and tomorrow we have to have a whole new system put in and it was so expensive. Having to spend close to 12,000 on a new system was way more than we expected and never had to replace one in a newer home.
❤🎉Hi Cassie, Dan and all the kitties and your families...Wishing you all a very Happy and Healthy, safe and blessed 2025! Happy to see you always and thankful to watch your great videos! Love and all the best!
I use the Catrice true skin high coverage concealer with hyaluronic acid. I order it off Amazon for 7 dollars! I've gone through 3 tubes and love it. Reminds me of shapetape
Hi Cassie! It’s funny that you think your vlogs are boring because they are so relatable and some of my favorite videos😂 Also, that is so sweet of getting Dan’s mom ring. Hope you have a great week
Happy new year Cassie! Here’s to setting boundaries, lots of healing love and making amazing new memories and friends!🎉❤ I’ve been watching since your early college days 😊
Hi Cassie, Happy New Year! The videos you post of your outfits of the week/month are some of my favorites. I remember the videos you posted of your outfits of the day when you were living in Massachusetts.
Realistically, you don't have a lot of time for deciding about kids. You're 35, right? Fertility plummets at age 37 so if you want kids, especially more than one, you have to get started pretty soon. You are wise to understand you might resent Dan if he didn't pitch in enough if you have kids. The change to your life is HUGE and most of the work falls to mothers. No more doing whatever you want whenever you want to. I think that's why so many people of your generation are deciding not to have kids. They realize the sacrifice involved and say eff it, I'd rather watch Netflix. 😄
I think she's 33? 34? And she said in the video she doesn't care if she has kids either way. But yeah, this isn't completely accurate. Fertility is different for everyone, but people are getting pregnant later and later and IVF and adoption also exists. And yeah, I like Dan well enough but he is not in the mentality of raising kids, especially if Cassie says he doesn't comb his hair or shower or take care of himself, gonna say "nah" lol
Spoken German has definitely evolved a lot in the past few decades. However, neither the use of "schön" or "auf jeden Fall" that you describe have evolved in the past 15 or even 30+ years (I am actually German but have lived abroad for 30+ years, so I am actually quite sensitive to these changes). While "auf jeden Fall" does technically translate to "in any case" in a literal way, it is and has almost always been exclusively used in the sense of "of course" or "absolutely". If you wanted to say "in any case", you could use "in jedem Fall". The "in" vs "auf" seems like a detail, but it makes all the difference :) Also, the English "in any case" can be used in subtly different ways, and one of those could be translated to "jedenfalls". What could also be happening is that you're picking up on regional differences in vocabulary, which are common in German as they are in pretty much any country. But, yes, German is pretty hard :p And I know people who remember less than you after less time has passed, so don't worry about it! And congrats on the new glasses, it's great that you like them, and it's a bonus that most of us think they suit you well :)
Happy new year! Glasses look great. I got some a couple months ago. Also I know this isn’t the right channel, but my six year old nephew was so impressed that I could name the Pokémon characters. He wanted Charizard and that’s what I got him. Nobody else knew what he was talking about. Don’t worry kiddo, Aunt Lizzie has you covered.

If he doesn’t put a ring on your finger to want to marry you sometime in the future then do not do a large purchase!!!!
If he got the ring for free and he can’t even be bothered to get it sized, he’s not going to do it. 2.5 years in at your age, that’s too long. He’s wasting your time and your biological clock is ticking.

Stay safe and warm!! ❤
Could be the glasses hitting your cheek causing a pimple
That would make sense, but I just got these glasses two days ago and the cheek pimples were there like a week before that 😅 thank you for the thought though!
Excited to see what you got for Christmas! And would love a closet clean out video! I’m trying to find motivation for my purge ❤
