    Glad you boys have seen the light 👍 I sold my Sting after 45 miles and bought the Ultra Bee. I am 6ft 2 and the bike fits me much better, it’s as you say so plush feeling riding it, the suspension is brilliant out the box. I have a new chain and sprocket along with a 21/18 wheel and tyre set on the way as well. Keep up your amazing works gents you keep knocking it out the park 👍👍

    I personally think the whole point of buying electric bikes is for the stealthiness of being able to ride around town and being pretty affordable. The Surron super Bee is not stealthy or cheap. I would just buy a real dirt bike at that point just in my opinion. My opinion also doesn't mean shit cuz I've never rode an electric bike 😂 I just ride dirt bikes so I'm biased lol. Great review keep up the hard work your content is awesome! Look forward to some more Sting r and 3x content 😜.

      The main benefits of these type of bikes are
      1. much easier to make legal or legally presenting with plug and play accessories to make it register-able if desirable or at least look legal.
      2. Quietness, generally your less likely to get yelled at and have pissed off people on your tail riding these since they are extremely quiet
      3. No fuel cost…. Well about a .10 each charge in reality
      4. Low maintenance, most e-bikes especially these types can basically go No maintenance for thousandsss of miles.
      Last is definitely a preference thing but many of us are interested in electric vehicles in general due to the uniqueness and nicheness and so many benefits to them even health/long term wise.

      I just went to my motorcycle dealership and test drove a KTM free ride. Electric bikes are not for me I will stick to the real deal! I laughed when they said it will probably only do 30 mi and takes 3 hours to charge. I ride legit single track and do 100 Mile loops everyday for the whole weekend no way this electric bike will do that and the performance of this machine compares to a 125. I ride a 300XC KTM. Even the guy trying to sell the bike laughed at me and told me to buy another 300xc 😂. I'm more interested in the $4500 gray zone electric bikes for riding around town and poaching mountain bike trails.

    Hello from France
    I have a Talaria 3000 and don't want to go faster but had more range to stroll.
    Can you do a range test ?
    At 27mph and at 50mph like talaria 3000 and 4000 on road.
    Or what you think is the range at 27mph and 50mph.
    Or in eco mode and sport.

    the new stark varg or ktm electric dirt bikes are probably the only other real competitors to the ultra bee.

    • @seandean352
      @seandean352 Год назад +1

      The Stark Varg is in it's own class for sure! There's a video where a guy had the varg on the dyno at the 60hp mapping and along all points on the powercurve it beat a stock 2023 Yamaha YZ 450 by heaps. Stock bike to stock bike. The KTM freeride on paper has more power stock at over 18KW but is definitely heaiver. I was disapponited the range wasn't better with the ultra bee, but it is neat that is so capable and still only a mid-sized bike. I have an Admit Jet armor 72v 70ah battery that is up to 25.2KW at peak power with good range which is about double the power of the ultra on paper, but it's a full sized heavy bike but neither is going to be discreet around town so they both are too big to go unnoticed.

      @@seandean352I'm in the process of ordering either the admitjet armor or the ultra bee.. which one would you prefer performance and quality wise?.. i want the admitjet due to more power but idk if it will last as long as the ultra bee in long distance everyday riding.. whats do you suggest?

    • @seandean352
      @seandean352 Год назад +3

      That’s a tough question to answer fairly because they are both still quite a bit different. If you feel that the 12.5kw power of the ultra bee is enough usable power (I’d say most of the time it is in the woods, but not on a track most likely) then the ultra bee has really good build quality and simplicity. On the other hand, if you want to venture into “closer” (about 7/8th of full size) to a full sized electric motocross/enduro bike, the admitjet is quite good. It has good build quality, but not quite to par with the ultra bee. It has plenty of power and gears and a clutch, but operation is less simple and the gears can feel clunky at times. The admitjet is not quite as polished as the ultra but has great range with the 70ah battery, range tests has been beyond the ultra from what I’ve seen in several instances. If I wanted to save some weight, make riding a little more simple, and not go full on I’d get the ultra bee. I’d get the jet if you want full power out of the box and full size and weight. Just expect a few more small quirks.

      @framestomind7548 definitely the Talaria XXX. The Surron Light Bee and Talaria R (MX4) are good, but bigger and less stealth. The Surron Ultra is a beast that will look like a dirtbike and totally not street legal. For offroad or if you are a bigger guy or have more of a budget ($6.5k) the Ultra is superb.

      @@leetjohnson I need a vehicle that can travel 3 hours in about 35-45 miles per hour as a city commute from the country side and back home ...I am 5'9 but 191 pounds,, am an adult but used to ride small mopeds all the time as a teen.. I do not wanna take a MC card due to the costs and time for all such things. and I hate electric heavy bikes to sit with bicycle pedal assist.. is not my cup of tea... I rather ride my fixed gear bicycle than those heavy pedal assist e bikes.. so am looking for an electric motorcycle styled moped that one will not need a MC card with but can go further and keep up to some comfortable speed to go 3 hours back and forth but still be fun off road at the same time... Otherwise I must look for a 50 cc.. do you ride those as well? any 50 cc you can recommend I that case? thanks for getting back!

    • @leetjohnson
      @leetjohnson Год назад +1

      @framestomind7548 right on! I'd say that you should stick with the xxx but all of these edirtbikes are over 100lbs. If you want to be able to hold 35 to 45mph range, will be an issue with a small battery, therefore the weight is a sort of necessary evil, especially for commuting. Do you have charging available when you get to work? I don't think many ebikes or edirtbikes can go 3 to 4 hours on a single charge at those speeds. Depending on how many miles, it almost sounds like you need a full on bike...because these can be impounded by cops in certain areas too. Lots to think about....50cc.moped or scooter might actually make more sense then electric, for your scenario.
