I appreciate you creating a video showing the types of things they're looking for on tests. I really feel that some of these questions are unfair, because there's different ways of seeing things and more than one logical answer to the question. That one with the arrows got me. I still see a different logical pattern than what the answer was.

I don't have a video for that but jus try to practice as much as you can by watching the videos where you'll understand how to approach different kinds of problems. With the timed tests you usually want to answer the ones you know right away and skip the hard ones to come back later to those if you have time left. You don't want to get stuck on one complicated problem and run out of time to answer the rest of the questions. Hope it makes sense but please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.

For the question at 22:00, I would argue that the answer should be B, because in the diagram, no shape with lines is repeated. Answer A would repeat the circle in the top right box. The answer could depend on the shape not being repeated, as well as the lines being on a different side than the other shapes in the boxes, instead of the pattern of rotating counterclockwise.

If an academy like this offers a money-back guarantee, one must avail this opportunity. To pass an aptitude test, practice is key. Understand the test format and types of questions commonly asked. Improve your skills in areas like math, logic, and critical thinking. Read and understand questions carefully before answering. Use time wisely, focusing on easier questions first. Eliminate obviously wrong choices to increase the chances of selecting the right answer. Seek out practice tests and review materials online or in books.

I think the correct answer to "find the right shape to continue the series" is the letter "B", which the circle is with the lines on the right side. Because the figures inside the square are rotating 45° clockwise in each row relative to the row above.
You are correct. The correct answer is B. That's the only question he got wrong.
edit: I was wrong the answer is A
The narrator's assumption that the rotation is counter clockwise is wrong and fails to prove anything even though his answer is correct. To prove the solution to this question you need to plot out all combinations twice, that's once clockwise and once counter clockwise. There are a total of 12 symbols to plot, 4 triangles, 4 squares and 4 circles. When plotting you can then replace the symbols on the diagram with numbers. The result for a clockwise rotation would show the lines in this order: line 1 = 1,2,3 line 2 = 3,4,5 line 3 = 8,9,10. The result for a counter clockwise rotation fails the order test on line 3 as this direction results with line 1 = 1,2,3 line 2 = 9,10,11 line 3 = 8,9,4. Therefore the correct answer is A. I believe most of those who assumed that the rotation was clockwise got the answer correct by a lucky guess. Presenting this question with numbers would look like this... line 1: 1, 2, 3 line 2: ?, 4, 5 line 3: 8, 9, 10.

Great video! I got PHASE instead of SHAPE, but same answer to the question. Also, reasoning for the vehicle question was interesting. I selected BICYCLE based on the number of wheels and not the need for fuel.

No... You are wrong... The answer is A. You are right about the pattern but take shape A and put it inside the empty box, you'll get a complete clockwise of the lines as compared using shape B in the empty box

I wrote a test last month and it had these type of questions. Thank you for this video.
I am aware it has been awhile since you posted this tutorial. I have a discrepancy with the correct shape pertaining to squares, triangles, and circles, with the lines either underneath, above the shape, or on the sides. I really thought ‘D’ would have been the answer to that question, as there is a pattern to that as well. 😳😉
I choose D too! It just fits better

On the question were you are given mixed letters to make a word, the third question in where your answer was Shape. I actually found the word Pawed which was answer D. Is that correct that there were two correct answers in that example?

In the last question (800 / 1/2; 1/4; 1/10), it works either way. I did it in the order that was presented in the question and still got the same answer.

I might have to disagree.. the answer could be the line on the left of the circle
10:25 I got 'heaps' lol. My go-to is usually just looking for common letter combos that work, like ea, sh, ee, ea, etc, and try to build something around them. If it seems hard to make combinations using the letters available then they probably won't work.
I got heaps also.
Vadim for the question at 22 min shouldn't the answer be D given the relationship between the square and the circle in the top and bottom rows. and Anti-clockwise rotation.

I think the rotation at 22:29 minutes indicates the right right pattern should be answer "B", this is because the last row does not have the top lines and so I believe the top line pattern shouldn't be considered, rather the rotational pattern of the square and the circle.

I get stuck on the ones where they say "susan is quicker than bob, alex is 2 spots to susan but quicker than jeff" how do you do these.. same as the calender schedules, same way but calender style?

I’m suppose to take a Electrical Aptitude test for a Union does this video show similar questions to the electrical version of the test or are all aptitude tests similar ?

Just read each quesiton carefully, pay attention to what exactly is asked, and understand what possible solutions are in each question - try to be logical and get rid of the wrong answers right away. Please do try to prepare - the more prepared you're the easier the test would seem. Please check out my other videos on the same topic. The most important thing is to be calm and confident. The Question at 9:00-- D could be written as "Pawed," which is what I guessed after B Being Shape. How can I ensure that I don't guess wrong on something that is technically right like that? Is there a reason that I would automatically throw D out otherwise?
