    Does anybody else find that taking care of a lawn is good for your mental health? If not, I say give it a shot:)

      I’ve been cutting the lawn my whole life. If I never touch a mower again it wouldn’t hurt my feelings! Causes my anxiety to rise knowing I have to cut that damn yard every week and weedwack it.

    Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make all of your videos. I went from 50% in Dec 2019 to 100% P&T yesterday just from listening to your videos. I had no idea that some of the ailments I have are connected to my military service. I have now started to help all of my buddies and my co-workers to get what they deserve too. Again thank you.

    Another great video CC - you know your audience well. btw - did you dump the cabin and venture into home ownership again - I remember earlier this past spring you said you were thinking about it. If so Congrats - if not - it is not to late. Nothing pleases us more then seeing people we support get ahead.

    This is very relevant to me. I have bi-lateral hammertoes from my military 🪖 time, and I am seen 😳 by a podiatrist for care. Have nerve damage from type II diabetes non service connected, though, but it was one of 3 issues that forced early retirement in 2019. Have filed for nsc and P&T; still have exams pending though with VAMC. Is very hard to walk, stand, or run. Tired of delays, I used to work C&P claims for 30 years, so I know how the system works. Advice / feedback, Combat Craig ?

    • @CombatCraig
      @CombatCraig  Год назад

      Yes hire a doctor to represent your interests and have him put the facts down on an IMO or DBQ. Then your story will be represented and it will contradict the C&P examiner story which rarely works out in our favor!

  • @royals1833

    I was approved 10% for bilateral plantar fasciitis. Then they took it away. The decision letter stated there was an error and wven though I had the diagnosis and nexus (from c&p examiner) there was no service records of me getting seen for it on active duty. C&P examiner stated I didnt complain about it while in service which is correct. Is there away around this? I didnt ever go to sick call really. I just sucked it up. Served 15 yrs infantry and ankles and feet are pretty bad. Now i have arthristis in both ankles too. At 10% for each ankle for ankle strain.

      Was the flat feet in your initial medical exam before entering the military? I noticed that flat feet were in my initial medical exam from 2000 and I've recently been diagnosed with an advanced foot issue by the VA.

    if in entrance exam asymptomatic normal pes planus but never knew. I was seen frequently for back hip and shin issues. Would that cover aggravation beyond natural progression. I did see it mentioned one separate time. What would need further to connect or show evidence?
    If chasing preservice aggravation

    I was given a waiver for my flat feet in to get into the military, so going in the doctor gave me the diagnosis. How would I file for my feet. Would it be Primary or Secondary?

  • @wesleycummings7582
    @wesleycummings7582 3 года назад +1

    It would be helpful if you would distinguish between the person judging your medical disability claim versus the person rating your granted medical disability. The two are often mis identified and can cause confusion to the veterans trying to follow the proper steps to a successful claim/rating/increase.

    • @CombatCraig
      @CombatCraig  3 года назад

      Do you mean the difference between the c&p examiner and the VA rater?

    • @wesleycummings7582
      @wesleycummings7582 3 года назад

      Combat Craig No, after the C&P your claim goes to a reviewer (judge for lack of a better term) for an award/denial/remand. If you receive an award a rater then reviews the claim for % designation. My understanding is that you have the opportunity to add pertinent info to the rater to assist in that decision. If I am incorrect I apologize. I do understand you can always wait for the % decision and then appeal for a higher rating.

    Hello, I probably need to file my va claim also. Its been 17 years and im not usually a fan of going to the doctors for any pain i had during my service. But i am having a lot of pain lately as my lower back, legs and feet are feeling the strains. I dont know if im going to grt a rating as i dont think its on my record. Can i still apply for claim? Pls help

    • @11865

      Yes you can try to get some buddy statements stating how your pain has been effecting your everyday life.Go to the civilian doctor and tell them your having “such and such pain“ and you believe it happened in service. Don’t give up please

    Craig. I’ve been out for 29 years. I was a nuclear welder so constant exposure to welding fumes/particulate/toxic chemicals. Do you think a review of my welding records, scientific evidence relating welding fumes to long term health issues, and other data by a Certified Industrial Hygenist who would them write an opinion letter stating the long term health effects of welding based on xyz would be helpful? I would then submit this letter with NEXUS letters for each condition claimed to bolster the evidence. Only way I can think to objectively show the link since none of my Dr’s will cooperate due to the 29 year span.
