    Hi, I have a question.
    So, what you said we have to do is say:
    1)Why is the character doing these actions?
    2)Why is the character saying the lines they are saying?
    3)How is the character saying the lines and why are they saying it that way?
    And you also said that during an audition, when you have a scene, you might not know why the character is saying the line that specific way, so you should just make up a reason why. My question is, do you have to make up a reason why the character is saying the lines they are saying as well ?
    Thanks

    So I live in Holland and i want to be an actor (what a suprise) but of course i want to make it into Hollywood or just acting in America. The problem is where should i live, where are the most auditions, what for work is the best besides acting (to have money for your home/food/some free time to search or learn) can you give me some advice?

    How does your character dress.
    What does it like or dislike.
    What is it’s humor.
    favorite color food and why.
    Normal stuff mold your character

      When should you become an actor

      If you don’t live in the US

      Start acting series (I’d suggest parts parts 1-3)

    I really want to audition for stranger things season 4 (if there is one most likely is) but I don't know where to go I watched the video of how to audition for stranger things but didn't really understand so can you help me?

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  5 лет назад +8

      gacha_ moonlight either your agent will get it for you or there will be an open call audition where you could submit if you didn’t have an agent. Open calls are less likely though, but not impossible. So if the casting director wants to make it public for anyone to submit for an audition they will. If they don’t and they want to go the traditional route, you’ll get an audition from your agent. Hope that helps.

    • @KC-nv6qf
      @KC-nv6qf 5 лет назад +1

      The Actors Academy So the open calls would be on websites like backstage right?

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  5 лет назад +2

      Normally yes. Backstage happens to be free when viewing what’s available on open auditions (of course if you decide to submit than you’d have to pay for the service, but that’s any platform). The other big casting platforms are Actors Access, Casting Frontier, and Casting Network, but you have to pay first before you can see any available auditions, whereas with backstage you get to see what’s available and then pay to submit for the project.

    I know it's kinda not your thing but its really important as an actor to stay fit. Which you seem to be. Could you do a lifestyle tips video? Cause I'd don't want to end up getting too skinny or gain too much weight in middle of making a movie. Btw love your videos they are super helpful
