    Mr. Belle, I highly recommend that you place aluminum foil in the pan, as I do, and reduce all of that scrubbing!

    I did not scour my grill plate and always soaked it like you did but about 3 months in it started flaking. I could never get the bits to come off that grill plate! Then the more I used it the coating came off. I LOVE the rest of it but the grill plate is a problem. I have found a different method to grill I have a wire rack thing I put in now and some parchment paper squares under it I found on Amazon.

    • @mr.belleskitchen
      @mr.belleskitchen  2 года назад

      That’s been happening to mine as well, I was thinking of doing something similar as well! Glad to hear that you found a new method when grilling! Also thanks for watching!

    Thank you for a well documented and detailed explanation. There is a question I have about the heating cover. I never cleaned the top so it is covered with grime spots. Do you have any suggestions on properly and safely cleaning it, since vigorous scrubbing or scraping may damage the top? Thanks again for these great videos and cooking suggestions.

    Good information Mr. Belle, I would not advise putting these parts in the dishwasher. Dishwasher soap is very abrasive and may remove the coating on the parts. Also, if your house is on a septic tank. Wipe grease and food off with a paper towel before rinsing off into the kitchen sink drain. Thank you Mr. Belle!

      It beeps when it’s finished or when it’s done pre-heating, you can press start and the beeping should stop or press cancel to end cooking. But other than that, I don’t think the beeping would stop. Also thanks for watching!

      This works for me: Pour 4 (more or less) cups of water into the pot (grate still in there), cover with glass lid or just close the attached lid. Turn on heat (any setting). Bring to a rolling boil. Let sit for a while, then open and pour out water (be careful not to scald yourself). The steam will sterilize and melt any grease that can be wiped off after a short cooling of surfaces. I leave the lid open, pot uncovered while storage so any residual water will evaporate.
