Good video! My take is I prefer FR3 to 1 & 2 which I've also skated in the past. I never adjust the cuffs, so I'm glad not to have moveable parts inside the cuff bolts like 1 & 2 have, but you can still swap out cuffs on the 3 if you like. I disliked that the metal buckles on 45 degree strap can rattle on the 1 & 2, so I'm glad to have the very solid plastic buckles instead. I prefer the full footbed cushion on the 3 as oppsosed to just the heel pad on 1 & 2. I don't care about the lower quality frames, wheels and bearings that come stock with the 3 as I use Flying Eagle Ultrasonic 125s on them. Metal plate, mounting holes, stock liners, laces, etc. are all the same on 1,2,3 and are all interchangeable.

I need some guidance. You were saying that with these skates the heel is actually higher than the rest of the skate. You also mentioned Superfeet insoles. So does that mean these would use the Super Feet Carbon Pro Hockey insoles? I know those are designed for skates with higher heels and have a bend in them, but I've never been able to get a straight answer on if they're right for skates that aren't hockey related.
Also, I'm looking at the FR1 and you mentioned that they have shock absorbers. Would they still use the Carbon Pro Hockey insole or would you use something else?

@@freshasadaisy4782 I agree with this. I have thinner legs too. I cut off a couple parts of the cuff flap at first and then realized that keeping it sort of acts as something that fills out the cuff area, similar to using the yellow(thicker) padding on an Intuition V2 liner. I got better results out of cutting down the excess buckle that goes past the receptor into the cuff.

The use of the wheel cover:
Once you've put them on, you can't roll anymore. This comes in place when you enter a store where wheeling is not allowed. This product is also available for purchase.
The second use is actually for dirt, but it is not intended to protect the wheels but the environment from dirt clinging to the wheels, a bag or a car.
