The old version Dan lives and jumps on the train with Ben and Charlie I think got shot by Dan as the train pulled away. Some of these remakes are pretty damn good while other movie remakes is just pure trash take roadhouse for example the remake was horrible but the original was badass some movies don't need a remake

This is such an underrated film. Belongs up there beside the best westerns and getting to see two actors in their prime beside each other is so amazing. Crowe and Bale? To say nothing of Ben Foster's performance either.

Crowe did a solid job but it still somehow feels off as a role for him. Tho I do really enjoy the natural chemistry between Crowe & Durand here. They appear again together in Ridley Scotts Robin Hood on more friendly terms

I place the Crowe/Bale "3.10 to Yuma" as one of the greatest re-makes ever made, along with "The Thing" and "The Fly", etc. It's just perfect.
