I have taken a decision to home educate my daughter, she is autistic and was so unhappy at school. She is flourishing at home following her passion which is art. She is learning a lot. You are such a gentle soul. This world needs more people like you.
My kudos to you, Margo. I homeschooled my children. My daughter has a little one with special needs and has to homeschool her. It is so very challenging for Mom day in and day out. Don't give up, pray for strength and keep on keeping on. You are working with the most important subject you can...a human life.

Sounds like it was a good decision today in my local shop I saw a published book for sale it was the artwork done by a local autistic girl. She is 10 years old. I wish big things for you and your girl. :)
The older I get, the more I believe that who we are as children is our "true nature". Many of us get lost in the hustle and bustle of growing up, casting off "childish things". Making a conscious effort to come back to myself in recent years has revealed that the real me, the girl who loved to sneak out of the house in the early morning to walk barefoot in the dewy grass, who devoured Celtic folklore stories and stayed up late to gaze at the stars, is still there, and there's such joy in embracing that.
Paola has made me think about what my "true nature" is by thinking about what made me happy as a child. I remember what joy I had playing in the rain and splashing in puddles. I loved walking in the woods and playing in the fileds. I was usually alone, except for my beautiful white horse and my imagination. I was shy and had difficulties with learning so I hid from people from fear of teasing and from fear of just plain mean kids. Nobody knew me except my mom. Wonderful woman. It is sad that it took almost 71 years for me not to allow people to hurt me. Sure wish I had been younger before I realized "I am ok." So with spring on its way i am looking for my first puddle. Love to all Victoria
I think science is finally catching up with you. I read up on this last year, and the general consensus seemed to be that we are our true selves between the ages of 9 and 12. I made a list of all the things I liked to do back then, and enjoyed quarantine by starting to do them again. Of course I couldn't go outside as I used to, but I could still do my nature drawings and write books. I'm so happy that you managed to find your true path. God bless always!

So well produced, you are very gifted in this form of communication. On your advice, I recently purchased “The Boy, the Mole...”and sat with my lady friend and read together. We really enjoyed that experience and it inspired great conversation. Keep up the wonderful and creative work you do. Many love you (in spirit).

You've inspired this Grandma to play in my little cottage in a small town. No it's not the countryside that I grew up in and loved so much. But it is where I have landed after health issues and wanting to be close to my son and his family after the passing of my dear husband. I have a beautiful little deck off the back of my cottage and a half wrap porch on the front. I'm going to container garden !! I'm going to paint on walls and paint with my watercolors again !!! Thank you for inspiring me and for your lovely video's! I love seeing bare feet ! That's me as the weather is warming up !! Hugs from a Kansas Grandma

Well done Kansas Grandma =) sounds like you're finding a way to lighten your heart and concentrate on something that will be very rewarding for you too, good luck with your container gardening! I have very little space in my (UK) garden, so it has many pots and hanging baskets where I try and grow flowers and veggies, sometimes with sucess!
Oh my! This Memere is doing the same thing. Kids are grown, my only grandchild is 17, and starting her beautiful life. Time for me now, and I'm loving it. I also paint (acrylic), and love to play in my little side yard. I too wish, but don't live in the country, but I find my own little quiet space. Yes, do your container garden. I have always had a veggie garden. I started doing containers last year, and LOVE it!!! They grew beautiful. Tomato, spinach, beans and lettuce are the easiest. Helpful hint: Tums calcium 750mg melt 1 per gallon in water, then add to container a couple times a week. OMG they grew the best they ever have. I have refreshed my kitchen with new painted walls, (a lovely medium yellow), some new blinds and curtains. No empty nest feeling here, we've earned our personal time. Lol

I've said it many times, but thank you for creating this peaceful corner of the internet. It has been a horrible week in Colorado and a calm distraction is so much appreciated.
Happy Spring as well. This spring I finally allowed myself to retreat inward, stay home, and garden. I have never given myself so much grace time or acceptance before. It's so healing and nurturing. 💐
This gives me so much calm after a day of handling 31 children in a tiny loud classroom. The sun is shining, my own plants are doing the best they can in the tiny space I have and I feel inspired to take care of myself for a bit now. Lots of love and gratitude from holland
Dear Paola TheCottageFairy Seriously Amazing Work, Watching Your Video is Like Meditation, The Way Express Nature Show's How Soulful You Are, This World Needs More Soulful People Like You, Thank You

I have an illness at the moment that is stopping me from finishing school. i've had a lot of mental health problems also because of everything that's going on, and i'm pretty isolated from other people. your videos have given me a space to escape into somewhere beautiful and calm, and also have inspired me to see the beauty in the present, even when the present moment is less than ideal in my eyes. i live in a cottage in the middle of a national forest (in england) and up until now i have let my illnesses dominate everything to the point of not going outside or exploring the beauty of where i live. i dont know, something in this video has changed my mindest. i feel inspired to be in the present, and enjoy the nature just like anne, and see every part of life as something worth living for. thank you, paola, truly.
Earth always calls us home - I truly believe having your hands in soil is a spiritual experience. Even for just a moment, you are feeling the energy of all things. I loved this video so much and Mr. Darcy is such a sassy little bun, you can tell.
Mr Darcy is such an adorable little furry friend, how can we ever be mad with him and his nature of wanting to eat all he sees LOL....I hope he leaves you some of the harvest though; perhaps you could find a little enclosure just for him to eat his own foods and keep him away from your plots.....May all your seeds grow with abundance. Enjoyed spending time with you, as always. Blessings to you and Mr Darcy
This is relatable for me on so many levels. I was homeschooled, love quiet and nature, had a rabbit growing up and currently have 2, am an artist and I could go on...😊 keep being you! ❤️
I wrote a poem the other day about a "secret recipe". I decided to write about plants since I have one in my room and it is slowly dying😂😥. I thought I'd share it here since I think you all might enjoy it. I don't much poetry (though I'm trying to change that) so please bear with me. First and most important Water. Water is life. It is essential. Don't water it too often It will die, But if you don't water it enough It will die. Balance is key they and they are all different in their needs Find it! Next, Sun Light Energy All these come from one source So be sure to give it plenty! Not too little It will die, But a little much is..... kinda okay. Last, but not least Your care. For they are alive just like you are And to flourish and grow just like you They need love. For this There is no limit
I love how you display your modesty in so many different ways. And you are well liked. It shows that people can win over viewers with simple beauty in many forms. ❤️
I am a retired teacher, retiring early due to serious health issues (that have become chronic.) But I love the Spring as well. I live in the Southeast, where it is very hot in the summer. I have struggled to find perennials that can flourish. However, one year I didn't clean up my garden for the winter... and many of my annuals came BACK! Your videos are inspiring and meditative for me, and I thank you so much.💞
I've been struggling with anger and despair lately . Today I cried a lot then watched many of these video back to back and lost myself in your gentle voice and beautiful world . Thank you .
Whenever i'm depressed or anxious or recovering from an panic attack i always come watch your videos, your voice snoothes the pain away. Watching you do little things and talk about your cottage life grasps my attention and makes me feel more centered and generally better. Thank you so much for inspiring and helping me, sending much love from Brasil
So here's a thought that's been on my mind everytime I watch your beautiful videos and yes I know its out of point but when I was in school I was always made to sit on the edge of the bench (school benches were/are usually a long wooden bench shared by 3-4 students in India) since I am left handed because everytime I sat either in the corner or in-between other students, I would get in their way while writing with my elbow or took too much space. And that had always made me feel somewhat different from others. But now seeing and meeting many left handed people like yourself, made me so proud to be one! :)
Your videos carries a lot of your beautiful soul. I feel very connected with them. Thank you for sharing your heart with us... it's a privilege being here, watching and feeling them. Thank you 🙏
I’m grateful for your insight in leaving some knowledge gaps. Way more often than I wish, I find myself wanting to research and analyze to the nth degree...which is the barrier to just beginning and trying. And I am embracing that discomfort with knowledge gaps more as I release the fear of making a mistake. Because yes...Mr. Darcy may get to all the edibles and enjoy himself immensely. And then likely you’ll plan the garden a bit differently next time! Or not. It’s all ok. I felt encouraged from your approach to start and observe what happens. Beautiful video, as always!
Paola, thank you for another beautiful video. Your voice over on this video transported me to another world; A world full of art, plants and an adorable bunny named Mr. Darcy. I especially love the sounds of the bristle broom sweeping on the floor and the door closing. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself.
I did homeschooling for one year for my senior of high school. My mom and I had just moved to a new state and she figured I wouldn’t want to start a new school for my last year. I absolutely loved online school much more than regular school. Being away from so much negativity and drama was wonderful.
Your music selection for your videos is sooooooo soothing and blends well with what you’re doing. Btw, you have wonderful taste in the clothing you wear. You would make a great model! 😊😊
Beautiful video as always. Truely a woman of wonderful upbringings. Reading opens the windows of our souls. Plants are soothing to the soul. Bucket gardens or large plots. Great admiration young lady 🤗

I hope I can see it again this year and photograph it!

For generations, every Canadian grew up on "Anne of Green Gables". I commend your taste in literature. You made reference to "The Wind In the Willows" in one of your videos---few of your generation are aware of the title and the fact that this is one of the best children's books ever written and illustrated. I have a couple of only a handful of limited prints of the original experimental sketches for the book, which I picked up at an auction years ago. They are among my most treasured possessions.
My favorite night of the week! Knowing I get a video of yours to watch on Wednesdays helps keep me feel relaxed and less anxious the beginning of the week, knowing I will have a comforting calming night Wednesday night before bed! Thank you so much for sharing parts of your life and experiences with us! That is also so thoughtful of you to not have Ads in the middle, I do make sure I watch the full ad in the beginning, I've heard that helps RUclips channels, I'm not sure if that's true but figure it's a small way I could help! Thank you again!!!
Such a lovely podcast. It’s funny to see you getting seeds ready whilst here in the Southern Hemisphere we’re seeing the beginnings of autumn. I've said it many times, but thank you for creating this peaceful corner of the internet. It has been a horrible week in Colorado and a calm distraction is so much appreciated.
Ohhhhhh, yes.....from Colorado also.....I almost shed a tear hearing the first musical note on this video. So sweet and reassuring.....
Please know that people from all over the world ( I am in England) are sending love to all of you in Colorado xxxxx
@@francesbarker5292 thank you
Gardening is so therapeutic. It has taught me to be the observer and not the critic. Happy Spring ♥️🪴🌷

@@daisyantony64 How nice, thank you!
Darcy seems quite content and also happy that the seedlings are coming along. He's a worry free rabbit 🐇. Lol Matthew 6:26
wow... i love what u are doing.. i can see myself in u... love u!!! from a fren here in d philippines!
I look at nature and think to myself God is so amazing!
You remind me of Beatrix Potter.
It is rare to see another person's soul so easily. Keep nurturing goodness, and beauty in this world.
Greetings,
Yes, we must always take ourselves lightly and be very flexible with expectations.

This is so gorgeously poetic. Can't wait to get out of quarantine and try this style of video. Your storytelling is incredible
I deeply enjoy it, it is such a wonderful creative outlet 🤍 thank you
You are a amazing person not only for the little ones but for everyone.......

Seriously Amazing Work,
Watching Your Video is Like Meditation, The Way Express Nature
Show's How Soulful You Are,
This World Needs More Soulful People Like You,
Thank You
Thank you Raman 🙏
Whenever I watch these, I feel better and more myself. Strange and lovely. Thank you :)
You are the best thing to watch during my breaks because you help me recenter myself. Working in an office full time makes me appreciate the wonders outside of the city so much more. Love from Australia 🌼
You are a special soul. Thank you for existing ❤️
Maybe you could share the beauty with us, the place where you live.
It is hard but I do see a great capacity and will power in you and I know u will overcome it as a whole
Hugs
I hope you continue to find blessings everyday.
Thank you for bringing calm & positive energy into my day. Be well 🙏
This life we cannot do great things.. we can only do small things with great love!!!!🥰
Spring will bring out the best in all of us.
You put so much work into your videos.. truly grateful and you never ask for subscribers or likes :) thanks so much
Earth always calls us home - I truly believe having your hands in soil is a spiritual experience.
The shot of Mr. Darcy on the table helping you plant is the perfect image of your whimsical channel. So sweet!
This is relatable for me on so many levels. I was homeschooled, love quiet and nature, had a rabbit growing up and currently have 2, am an artist and I could go on...😊 keep being you! ❤️
I love that we could hear the patter of the rabbit’s feet as it moved across the floor.
I wrote a poem the other day about a "secret recipe". I decided to write about plants since I have one in my room and it is slowly dying😂😥. I thought I'd share it here since I think you all might enjoy it. I don't much poetry (though I'm trying to change that) so please bear with me.
First and most important
Water.
Water is life.
It is essential.
Don't water it too often
It will die,
But if you don't water it enough
It will die.
Balance is key they and they are all different in their needs
Find it!
Next, Sun
Light
Energy
All these come from one source
So be sure to give it plenty!
Not too little
It will die,
But a little much is..... kinda okay.
Last, but not least
Your care.
For they are alive just like you are
And to flourish and grow just like you
They need love.
For this
There is no limit
Thank you for sharing.
nice :-)
I love this! ❤
Thanks, beautiful!
Very insightful. I hope your plant recovers.
I love how you display your modesty in so many different ways. And you are well liked. It shows that people can win over viewers with simple beauty in many forms. ❤️
I m glad you are receiving these messages. You are a bright light in this universe. Thank you for being you. 😇
I also flourish in quiet, love Anne of Green Gables. Nature heals.
Your videos are inspiring and meditative for me, and I thank you so much.💞
that rabbit drawing intro was great! 🥰
your videos help me to remember the reason for not giving up on life, for still being strong to live my dreams, Thank you 🌻✨
Her voice reminds me of Miss Honey on the movie Matilda. Soft, calm and relaxing.
You have made a difference in so many people's lives by sharing the beauty of your life.
So good seeing you get more confident in front of the camera the more videos you do. Love the talk at the end. Great video as always x
a lefty who loves Beatrix Potter... a kindred soul!!!
So here's a thought that's been on my mind everytime I watch your beautiful videos and yes I know its out of point but
when I was in school I was always made to sit on the edge of the bench (school benches were/are usually a long wooden bench shared by 3-4 students in India) since I am left handed because everytime I sat either in the corner or in-between other students, I would get in their way while writing with my elbow or took too much space. And that had always made me feel somewhat different from others. But now seeing and meeting many left handed people like yourself, made me so proud to be one! :)
Planting feels so good. 🪴
I love the satisfaction of this, probably because then I focus on something beyond myself.
You are truly a beautiful inspirering light in this world. Thank you. Much love, Chanett - Denmark
I prefer watching this than the luxurious life of KUWTK.
🙏🏽🌱
Honestly I can appreciate both
I just wish they were longer!!!! I understand not easy so I treasure every moment. ❤️❤️❤️
Please... just no!!!
I agree with you. I saw one episode of KUWTK and that was enough.
Your videos carries a lot of your beautiful soul. I feel very connected with them. Thank you for sharing your heart with us... it's a privilege being here, watching and feeling them. Thank you 🙏
It’s still dark out, having my morning coffee and found your video. A wonderful way to start the day. 🌸
“Bloom where you are planted!” May your gardens grow lovely and wild! 🪴❤️
Your voice is soft and uplifting. It’s beautiful.
I remember commenting on a few videos back saying one of the reasons I loved your channel so much was because you remind me of a modern day Laura Ingalls Wilder 💛 I grew up reading her books, so it is so neat you mentioned her🥰
Heart of Kentucky. Hi sweetheart Cottage Fairy. It's spring here too. I had the most beautiful day outdoors today. I went to the park, and walked along the creek. Went to the pine trees to pick up a pinecone, then I ended up at the University. It's Christian, and students come here from all over the world. I keep you in my prayers. It's just past midnight. Your friend, Katie.
This video has the quality of a Hollywood movie that maybe Julia Roberts would star in...absolutely beautiful and fascinating! I am in the UK and our garden is now full of buds on plants and trees. Spring is amazing! Love this video 👏
It's amazing how many people are inspired when another human is just their best authentic self and shinning their light btightly onto this world. I don't think i will ever say this enough ,thank you Paola for changing my life through your videos, you make a life I once hated become a life I can't wait to wake up and you inspired me to start documenting my own journey
❤️ thank you, that sounds just lovely - I look forward to updates on your journey
I can’t wait to see your garden. I am studying to become an herbalist, and I too am starting my first herb garden. Best of luck and may everything you touch turn to gold.
These are the cuuutest flower pots 😍 I just loved everything about this video - the storytelling, the wording, the beautiful visuals, and the music selection is amazing. So excited to see that garden come to bloom!
You uploading just made a really hard day 1000 times better. Thank you so much!
The artwork, beautiful plants and Darcy enjoying it all is so wonderful. But your thank you to us all means so much too. Spring is springing, yeah, finally. Thank you too!
watching your videos is just so soothing for me...I'm a school student and I have learnt so much about life and nature from you and I'm so happy that I had clicked your video on my recommendation section months back...
I could listen to her talk all day! 🦋🍡💕
Gosh This brings so much calmness and happiness ☺️ Thank you for bringing this into our lives, I love spring also 💐♥️
You have such a gift for making me appreciate the smallest things.
Whenever I have a simple house chore I don’t feel like doing I ask myself, “ how would Paola see this?”
It gives me renewed gratitude for the things I get (instead of have) to do.
Thank you for all the peace, beauty and calm energy you sprinkle into the world ❤️ I so appreciate how much work you put into your videos, they are truly something I look forward to every time you post!
Thank you from France 🙏🏼 your videos make me feel so good 🙏🏼 my favourite season is spring too. A kind of rebirth with nature 🪴 have a lovely day Paula 🌸🌸🌸

What a delightful treat to see Darcy today ... especially as tomorrow marks the 4th anniversary of my own bunny`s passing ..... how he is missed...

Goodness, Imissyou I miss your cottage, your cutieee Bunny, your Dog, your art, your stillness and the peacefulness.... 💛💛💛
I love how gentle and purposeful you are with what you do. I really enjoy your videos. I wish you could have a longer video of just chit-chat, nothing in particular, just to listen to what you have to say especially with Spring here and all the flowers that will bloom. Thanks so much for sharing your life with us. You are an amazing Lady. You make people feel at peace. 😊💗🌞🌷🌹🌸🍀🌱🌺🌼🌻🌾🌱🐇🐕💖
i feel whole when i watch your videos thank you
I love how at the end you said you'd have a memorial for the garden and move on if Darcy eats it haha. I love that attitude! I can't wait to have a little garden of my own this year after I move out :')
I really wish to live a life like you , simple yet amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are so very inspiring my beautiful flower! Because of you I have now bought and moved into my own little house in the mountains of southern Crete. My life here is deeply natural, relaxing and so soothing for my tired body and mind. I sleep better, don't interact with people, chop wood, do yoga, paint and read. I love your contribution so very much and thank you from my Soul!
I love your videos because it makes me feel peaceful and very enjoyable 💖💖💖
I had a super chaotic morning and a head full of anxiety.. and than I happen to watch your video and all of a sudden every chaos melts away and I am transported to this deep meditative state of mind. Soft, quite and ethereal.... thank you 💕✨💫
Thank you for your gentleness, peacefulness, kindness, creativity, beauty (yourself and your surroundings) and for this RUclips channel wherein I get to dream and to escape from the confines of my bed for a while. Thank you. ☺️🙏🕊️💛🍵🕊️🙏
You have such a beautiful soul, you draw us into to your quiet gentle world and it is pure joy to be a part of it, and I thank you so much for sharing it with us, I adore all animals and living things, and also adore MR Darcy! what a hansom boy he is! there is nothing sweeter than a pet to shower with love and attention ! xxx
If you get a chance this spring take a trip to the 100 rd above conconully, it is so amazing what’s growing in the wild! I was so amazed by the wild strawberries, roses and lupines! My husband believes this is the after effect of the wild fires! I don’t know but I do know I’ve never known this in that area before it was really beautiful. I hope I can see it again this year and photograph it!
Thanks for the tip!
I’ve been amazed by what happens in the burned-over areas.
Since the day I started watching your videos, there's not a day that goes by without watching your videos. 🧡
Yesss my weekly dose of motivation in life and for my tiny Poetry channel is here!!! ✨❤
Blessings to you and your family for the love you show, it is a part of the love you’ve been shown,.Please continue to inspire the good God has created and the beauty and peace of this world.

@@suew5659 Yes, true! 😲😄
Your videos are so refreshing and inspiring. May the Lord richly bless you, Paola!
Anna Green Gables is one of my all-time favorite movies in history♡
For generations, every Canadian grew up on "Anne of Green Gables". I commend your taste in literature. You made reference to "The Wind In the Willows" in one of your videos---few of your generation are aware of the title and the fact that this is one of the best children's books ever written and illustrated. I have a couple of only a handful of limited prints of the original experimental sketches for the book, which I picked up at an auction years ago. They are among my most treasured possessions.
Double that!
@@calisongbird and yet you knew exactly what Jessica meant, or you couldn’t have “ corrected” her.😃
My favorite night of the week!
The leaves are just starting to turn, there’s a chill in the morning air, and it’s darker in the mornings. There is a beauty to autumn which I appreciate, but spring is definitely my favourite season too.
These videos are like their own form of meditation. Love watching these to calm my mind.
