    I find it amazing when small groups of people gather together. Humans have done this for millennia. You can tackle a challenge that is generally assumed to be worthless if you can gather together a few people. If you have a group of people genuinely encouraging each other there’s not much that can’t be done!

    I don't get why the virtual console run isn't just a separate category. The lack of lag makes it functionally different.

    • @delk1299
      @delk1299 6 лет назад +16

      Fun. It's an oficial emulator though. Usually emulators are banned if they're not legitimate to the company.
      Anyways, its always the runner's decisions. SM64 has It Split, this doesnt

    • @Ballaam
      @Ballaam 6 лет назад +8

      The community (Consisting of both VC & N64 runners) has decided several times to not split the leaderboards. Whilst no lag does give VC a severe advantage, and makes a meh VC time look better than a great N64 time, we still class it as the same game.
      There is also a filter function on SRC anyway which allows you to see the N64 leaderboard or the VC leaderboard for a certain category. Most N64 runners look at that for goals and where they are.

    • @tails512
      @tails512 6 лет назад +22

      You're basically just restating the fact that they made the decision (which goes without saying), and then not elaborating. Personally, as someone not in that community, it seems like a dumb choice.

    • @delk1299
      @delk1299 6 лет назад +6

      tails512 there are examples miles Worse. Bayonetta on PC saves 15mins alone in a 105min speedrun, yet all consoles run the same leaderboard

    • @tfreshcuber6307
      @tfreshcuber6307 5 лет назад +1

      @@tails512 not sure what you mean by not elaborating. We have had several community votes and the result has always been the same. If you want the reason then you should ask the people who voted not to split.

      The Luigineer I love that game so much. Never looked into speedrunning it, but I did a peril Mario build on my last run and it was incredible.
