I wish I had a home to go to when I was growing up. I basically raised myself. Homelessness, Eating out of garbage cans and then found my way to a group home for the rest of my teenage years. Bio mom didn’t want me nor did my adopted parents. But I’m still here 49yrs later. God Bless this Mom and Son.

God has a habit of picking up nobodies and making them somebodies without consulting NOBODY. I am so so pleased that this young man finally found what he's been looking for and this lady is been used by God to be a mother figure to him. I guess he's been praying and asking God to give him a family and his prayers been answered. This story brings tears to my eyes.

But in God’s eyes he was always somebody and God put him and his forever mom and all the men in the Brotherhood of Jesus Christ in just the right place at the right time to show him what a Somebody he truly is. Biology has nothing to do with making a family. It's the unconditional love, protection and provision one offers. THIS IS AWESOME!!! God is good. He brought them full circle. What a great foundation she will offer him. YOU ARE LOVED!!!!!

I’m a former foster child and fortunately I had one great home and we recently reconnected on FB and keep in touch. My heart goes out to children in the system I’ll never forget seeing all my stuff being put in a trash bag and is being physically pulled away from my family. You feel unwanted and it takes YEARS to process that as a child. Foster kids are often mature for their age. I can’t wait to begin an organization for these kids. It hurts knowing the government does so little to fix the system. Everyone doesn’t end up like Anthony and all of these kids should have the opportunity to be loved instead of disciplined by ppl who don’t care to know them.
I am so happy for Miss Bennie and Anthony. I was a part of a Minority Adoption group when I was in my 30's. We had Minority Adoption Banquets where prospective parents and minority foster children could meet each other. When the kids and prospective parents eyes' met, they knew they were family.

I am a white Italian Canadian adoptee of 52 . Anthony is such a kind, intelligent, and wise soul. My husband and would would’ve adopted this young man in a heartbeat 💓. I understand firsthand, I was never quite right or lovable to my a mother, and brother. That Feeling of rejection stays with you for life. Thank God for my husband, dogs and friendships, this saves me daily.
