Hi! I think it was a weekday.
Don't worry about crazy crowds like in Disneyland in Tokyo. Miyazaki Hayao is a great entertainer as well as a genius Anime creator.
The park limits the number of visitors like a couple of hundred of people every two hours, so you can relax.
Getting a ticket can be competitive.
If you are going in November, they start selling the tickets of that month on September 10th.
You should fix your schedule before it gets too late.
