The idea is good and some inventors have already built various prototypes with them and also presented them on RUclips. But it's not easy to market a very good idea. There are thousands of hours of work and headaches involved. Anyone who has many millions of euros or dollars can advertise such a good idea with lots of advertising and only then earn money. I wish you much success. I have an idea for improvement, but you need to know whether it is worthwhile to think through and implement further changes: Such a rain cover is interesting if, for example, you are going on a day tour with an e-bike and you do not know whether the weather will change. For example, you drive off in the morning without a roof and at noon it starts to rain and you still have 20 km to go home. If a rain cover is then attached very quickly, that would be optimal. A canopy that, when folded, fits into a luggage carrier bag and can then be fitted in a few simple steps when it rains. THAT would be the solution. Kind regards from Bavaria in Germany.
