A note on the funky end grain of palm:
"Palms are part of a group of plants called monocots. Other monocots include corn, grasses, lilies, and onions. Typical trees belong to a group of plants called dicots. Most shrubs, vines and other woody plants are dicots. The folks that don’t see palms as trees (like me) simply argue that palms are closer to tall grasses than they are to trees."

Good morning 🌅 Jim, great contrast with the purple heart, 💜, And obviously, the hyper shift in the resin looks amazing, especially flooring round the pinecones, i’ve still got a lot of work to do on my garage workshop extension, one of the big issues is I need to insulate the roof, Basically, because when the Sun gets up around 10 11 o’clock time coming over the trees, whatever the temperature is outside say you could put another 10 to 20° on it inside, Plus, At the moment I’m working on my HOG , as I have been a recluse for about the last five years,
Great territorial content as per usual , Look forward to next weeks, stay safe. Keep up the great work., France.

@@SpragueWoodturning Good morning 🌅, I did think about doing my attic, Roof a couple years ago, with the spray foam, as I have damage from hailstone, I have a bit of hard going on at the moment with the insurance company, they were supposed to have started doing the repairs last year, But that’s a whole new different story, I’ve got to go out in about two weeks time to one of the big cities where I believe they actually sell spray foam in kits. I’ll have a look to see how much it’s going to cost., there is going to be some people that will not like my HOG, it is back together, apart from Battery seat fuel and a good clean,🧼, I just hope I haven’t forgotten about everything, it was back in the 90s when the last time I had done work on my bike, in 2000 I purchased a new bike, and all the work was done at HD , once’s I no that it is all good, I can get back on with the workshop,
Looking 👀 forward to getting some RESIN , and I need to make a slab flatting table,
Stay safe, keep up the work, Ps , someone I chat with about bikes, lives in BC, she as got very bad fires , that is getting worse and closer to where she and her Dad live, France.
