I'm looking forward to seeing how mine compares. It's not arriving until tomorrow even though I purchased it about the same time as you. I think I'll be quite pleased with it if it holds tuners 🎅👍!
That is a GORGEOUS looking Tele for $90. The color is absolutely perfect, even if the wood piece selection and matching could have been better. I do think the pickups could be better, but I realize this may be a minority opinion. I look forward to seeing how you can improve it!
I HAVE this guitar, just got it 3 days ago,and I'm so excited to watch this review! I paid $100 for mine on Amazon w free shipping. It's beautiful and balanced, and it's the one I've chosen to learn to play. I'm going to take your advice on getting shorter set screws to lower the action. I'm going to stop TYPING and start listening, watching, and LEARNING from you. Thanks....btw, I subscribed too!
Thank you so much Raymond. I appreciate your support very much. I hope you enjoy the guitar it is rarely pretty good. Just needs a little bit of set up work and Bob's your uncle. Even though I completely changed the Picard and the pickups on mine I retained the original one that could be used on something else because those pickups with the humbucker are also very good
Wow Man! Very cool tele for 90 bucks! String through, Belly cut and 6 saddle bridge alone is pretty impressive! They did a good job of copying that black face tele look. Pups sound pretty good as well. Nice find man! I think those metal filings is from a possible fret leveling... they probably taped off the neck pickup but not the bridge. Maybe the frets are level and will only need a polishing?! Wouldn't that be nice hahaha! I'd say you're gonna need some better pups if you want a tight controlled overdrive, but really, they are pretty good otherwise. Thanks for sharing!
@@2bikemikesguitartopics145 hmmm strange indeed. Maybe they drilled through the bridge plate for the string through body holes hahaha! Or the person installing the pickup dropped it on his dirty bench hahaha!
The color is Amber, not "orange" (orange would have been weird). The bridge pickup is WAY too brittle -- but I suppose that you can work with that. But, it's a very pretty guitar, and appears to have some good possibilities. In fact, for a $90 guitar, it's astonishing! That's pretty impressive. I like this.
Thank you good job on that great review I was bit upset they aren't as orange as pic but it's different than my yellow one. My neck pocket was F jacked mile high I got it better lower action of course adjust neck pickup up wow blown away like it
@trevorgleave5168 Good to hear you are one that can see the issues and know how to fix. I have some poly issues in the neck pocket that need to be leveled before finding the correct shim to get the nice action vs saddle hight adjustment. The screw holes in the body are not wide enough for the screws not to bite there. Easy fix. Electrics I'll be touching also. Thanks for your time and support.
Looks and sounds good Mike. For that price you can't go wrong.
With the high string action it Sounds pretty good out of the box.. They must have drilled the bridge plate onto the guitar with the pickups on? 😂
Just bought this as well. I'm relieved that I'll only have to change the pole pieces in the neck pickup and leave the bridge alone as it sounds great.
nice tele clone brother!
not many comes with the "tummy carve" like this one!

Thanks. The metal on the bridge was thicker like drilling metal chips.
