Enterprise Earth is a deathcore band with elements of thrash, black metal and hardcore. Their recent release "Luciferous" is a deep dive into vocalist/lyricist Dan Watson's pysche. He uses a conceptual narrative structure to tackle issues of personal trauma, mental anguish and self doubt. Check out the performance by Enterprise Earth live at Audiotree.

Saw Enterprise Earth, Lorna Shore, Bondysnatcher, and Within Destruction a couple month's ago in Rochester, NY...needless to say it was an amazing show and I got to meet Dan Watson...coolest dude, he's really down to earth and gracious of his fan's. Every band killed it and honestly the best show of the year for me so far.

Sounds better than most bands but I still think something is off with Dan's voice here. He's usually better than that. The occassional voice cracks during lows give it away. Also his vocals are very quiet but that's not caused by bad mix, his vocals are just very quiet in general.
i eat shit Yeah I agree. I feel Audiotree goes for a more "raw" feel with their metal sessions though. This video reminds me of their Veil of Maya session. It' sounds like a raw pre-production/almost final mix/live recording. Just go watch Leo Sypniewski's Enterprise Earth live recording, it's a night and day difference to this. I don't mean this with any disrespect to Audiotree at all. Dan just sounds a bit tired in my opinion.
They spoke about having a show later that night. Conserving energy I'm sure. I saw them on this tour they blew the roof off the venue.
He always says he concentrated more on technique and control than volume
They have been touring a lot since the release of Lucifurous, so that is one of the reasons for his vocals being a little off.

Man I respect the hell out of Dan Watson. For some reason I always had such a weird view of him as a person, like maybe he was super full of himself and shit. But not at all, he’s super down to earth and I identify a lot with what he says about creative expression and stuff. Super awesome.
