Ahhhh the good old days when late night was made for laughing. Now it's made for watching Seinfeld episodes for the five hundredth time and asleep by midnight. That wet bar line sums up perfectly why I loved watching Dave. My kind of humor and sorely missed.
I’m in my early 70s back in the day I could not go to sleep until I watch Johnny Carson. And after that David Letterman. The two best late night talkshows ever.
This is what I love about Dave's show, his segments involve extra ordinary "regular" folks but more entertaining and captivating… today's talk shows HAVE TO HAVE celebrities on their segments to make it barely interesting 🙄
Respected editor of this channel, I would be extremely grateful if you would post a recording from the show where Belinda Carlisle was a guest and where she sang the song DO YOU FEEL LIKE I FEEL, as well as the accompanying interview. The episode is from October 1991. Thanks in advance and best wishes to you. Steve.
The reaction of the kids when Dave freaks out is the best part. Future fans.
Dave always had a great rapore with the kids, especially junior scientists. Miss this show so much. Thanks Dave!
I love Kid Scientists. Probably my favorite segment from the show. Dave + kids = Gold
Loved this segment -- great fan suggestion, thank you!
Dave is so great with kids.I miss his show
Dave would have been my favorite babysitter.
That was awesome. The kids did an amazing job, and so did Dave.
Chladni figures! The patterns on the plates as demonstrated by Ernst Chladni, back in the 1780’s. Very cool.
When Dave put on the goggles, I thought he would say "About an hour at Lens Crafters."
Dave is built on chill power. He does not need that busy stuff, but I love it when he has to move around.

The first girl was so well spoken and knowledgeable! She’s probably a doctor or scientist right now.
Dave is the best. Man I miss this show.

Thanks for posting! You can't stop now!
When the last kid shook Dave's hand he should have went "AHHHH AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAH"
Who was the last late night host to do nearly 13-minutes of kid science, keep adults entertained, and appeal to grade 8-12 students??
Incredible! The data collected from these experiments is exponentially valuable!
Gravity is in charge and control 😅
If I had to do a presentation in front of 300 people at 14 years old, I would have never stopped screaming.
"My parents spent the money on a wet bar." 😂😂😂
lol WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TAPE! XD
Dave and the kid scientists😵💫
Haha, that was really funny. 👍
Cute and smarts overdose!
what a shame segments like these never appear on todays talk shows

See this has already been posted plenty of times before. I appreciate all letterman posts, but we gotta get posts that are entirely unique
