Great reaction! Liliac (pronounced Lily-ack) is absolutely full of musical talent. Check out some of their newer original music as well. Their covers are great and their songwriting is only getting better! Another young sibling band with a big following is "The Warning", three sisters from Mexico. I recommend their song, Disciple, to start with. Either the official music video or the recently released live Teatro Metropolitan CDMX video.

I like Liliac. I really like most of their songs, but as with all bands, not all of them. This song was off of their first album (EP). I do like this particular song, but their style is really eclectic. They have rock ballads, rock songs, metal songs and lots of great covers. Just released their 3rd Album this past summer. Their songwriting has improved significantly over the years, and Melody (singer) has expanded her vocal repertoire. Ignore the commenters who are unhappy that you not instantly excited about them. Their fan base is very loyal and at times a little zealous. I would give this song a strong thumbs up, but to each their own.

they do great music dude and there cover songs, maybe the best that I've ever seen and I'm a 59 year old 80's rocker. Check out there cover of the Trooper or Enter Sandman, they kill it and Close my Eyes Forever is great with Mercury Cross doing Ozzy's part and Melo is doing Lita's part on the song. They have 6 albulms out, 3 of just covers and they just dropped there 3rd Lp in July. I think the more you listen to them, these kids are young an started about seven years ago. So I think they sound damn good for a young band. RO&RH

Bill, Im 61, an old rock fan, never really got much into the big hair scene when I was younger, kind of lost interest in a lot of music for many years, but stuck true to the old heavys over the years, then one day I came across LILIAC doing Crazy Train on the pier , on RUclips! They caught my attention! So I started digging into the band, the more I learned and listened to them the more I liked them with the small band gaining ground! It's been a whirlwind of a journey for them, and I'm proud of the accomplishments they've made as an independent band! And they are not perfect by any stretch, but they give it 150% effort in what they do for sure! So I'm at 5 1/2 years following them now! I haven't followed a band in probably 30 plus years! Love me some LILIAC!!!

Check out their original song " Mars " live. Sail Away and Dear Father are good originals and Holy Diver and Last In Line are great covers of theirs.

They are actually an American band since the kids were all born here. Also, they have steadily grown up and have left "vamp metal" behind. They have changed their appearances and their clothes as they mature. I would put them in a rock/hard rock/somewhat metal genre. Great family, great parents, with a belief in Jesus. They are increasingly growing in their musicianship and how to hit the stage hard with their style and knowing how to get the audience start their arms pumping and the DIO rock sign all over the audience. They have a catalog that is very impressive so I would start diving into that pool of Liliac music if I were you. Their motto is: Rock on and rock hard. Thanks for your feedback, even though it was a bit hard to follow your train of thought. lol
Check out Originals; Dear Father, and Not Afraid LIVE, but also check out their Master Of Puppets cover LIVE with Aidan Fisher of "Strange Things" to show the incredible musicianship. Those who were there posted that this was their encore after over an hour of rocking. Amazing!!

This is one of their first originals off the first album of original music. Prior to this they released three albums of excellent covers of songs by Dio, Metallica, Megadeath, Joan Jett, Janis Joplin. Keep in mind they are teenagers when this was recorded, as a matter of fact the two youngest, Ethan on bass is sixteen and Justin on keyboards is fifteen. Sam, lead guitar, is the oldest at twenty four. Check out other originals such as Dear Father, Mystery, We Are the Children, Carousel, Madness, and great covers of Holy Diver, Last in Line, Symphony of Destruction, Enter Sandman, Seven Nation Army, and one of their earliest videos, on the Santa Monica Pier covering Crazy Train. BTW, Vinnie and Carmine Appice, Stewart Copeland (the Police), Wendy Dio (Ronnie James Dio’s widow) are fans.

The great thing is they are not stuck in one style . Their original songs are distinctly different from one another . I would suggest listening to some of their covers like Enter Sandman and Seven Nation Army . And originals like Carousel and Madness to get an idea of what they can do . Also the name is pronounced Lily-ack . Have a great day !

The others have corrected the pronouncing of their name so I won't repeat it again. Their parents are from Transylvania and "Liliac" basically translates into bat or vampire bat approximately hence why they adopted the term Vamp Metal for their style. They are very good in my opinion, although they are better known for their excellent covers like Dio's Rainbow in the Dark, Holy Diver and Iron Maidens The Trooper among many others which are excellently done. Their originals are getting better but I still like this one a lot as well as nearly all the songs off their Chain of Thorns album and Queen of Hearts. This song was done during the height of the pandemic and recorded in their home as well as the video while on lockdown. They are also still very young here but as they have aged they have also grown musically as well which is always good to see.
So yes check out more from them. Also as other have mentioned you should check out a band called The Warning, three sisters from Mexico who really know how to rock. They have great music videos but it is Live where they truly own, one of the few bands I know who can make their live shows, sound better than their studio versions. Check out all their performances from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX which can all be found on their youtube channel, though I suggest Disciple, Dust to Dust and Z as your first look. I am a fan of both bands, but The Warning is top in my book, but each band are doing a great job of keeping rock alive and well.

Liliac is a great family band.. it's Lil-Lee-ack .. have you ever heard of a band called THE WARNING? It'a family band from Mexico. 3 sisters who absolutely rock .. opened for Halestorm, Guns N Roses, foo fighters, Muse, Pretty Reckless, the were at the MTV VMAs last week. Extended stage performers.. the best live band I've seen in many years... type in VMAs The Warning, EVOLVE or The Warning live at Teatro Metropolitan cdmx 2022,, Dust to Dust or Disciple, Animosity . You'll fall in love with these young ladies..

Considering how young they were when this was done and that it was from their first album, it is a good song. I do like this one of theirs, but there are a lot of their other songs I like much better. For some of their older songs, I _love_ Sail Away (still my top 3 Liliac songs), Mars, Not Afraid and Dear Father. Imho those are all better than this one. For their newer songs from recently released 3rd album is Carousel, Somber Cry (both my other top 3), Madness and Rise Up are again imho all better songs. They have also done some great covers over the years as well, which are really awesome and at times perhaps even better than the original.

ive looked as the "vamp metal" more about appearance, than musical style---jmo...in the earlier vids youd see a coffin-shaped guitar case in the background....theres other things going into the vamp thing, a little research and youll understand better.....take a trip down the rabbit hole.

Mate, you need to keep out of American politics, you've just lost half of your potential yank subscribers , Liliac pronounced lil ee ack is a highly successful band who have gradually progressed from a bunch of kids busking every weekend on the Santa Monica pier to touring America to sold out concerts .they have released 2 albums of tribute covers some of which are better than the original songs and an LP and 2 full length albums of original songs this being one of them ,produced for no money in their apartment living room during the height of the American covid lockdown .You can do yourself a huge favour by reacting to more liliac, I suggest you checkout their version of Metallicas ENTER SANDMAN with over 12 million views or their original songs MARS, DEAR FATHER, NOT AFRAID, or MADNESS ,to see what they are capable of , of simply react to anything from their playlist there's not a single dud on it , . FANG4LIFE RORH .
