As for Aby, that girl is such an incredible drummer she is officially my favorite female drummer. Sam, no words. He stuns me the more I hear from him and then watching him last year and I was front row. He is electric. He is my fave guitar player after 15 years of Matthias Jabs of Scorpions being my fave. I videotaped his "Mars" solo and I got chills. As for Ethan, he is my fave bass player, he is killer now and has found his rock and roll star role and he is comfortable in it. Justin, well he is moving on up there really quick. Melody? Well, I am or was a singer, so nobody can even touch her and her God-given pipes in my opinion. All in all, Liliac is my fave band and I have had plenty in my decades of loving rock. I can't wait till you progress through the years. You will see quite the change.
I love watching Aby play the drums. Especially these days since she's using double kickers for the bass, so you see hands flying, hair flying, both feet flying, and an ear to ear grin... and when there's a break in the drumbeat, the sticks start to twirl. She's a non-stop show all on her own.

Fun fact…Justin (keyboards) turned sixteen today! I can’t believe I left two very important covers off the list I gave you! Melody is huge fan of Ronnie James Dio. Staying in order, after The Trooper, add Holy Diver and Last in Line. Wendy Dio, RJD’s widow, asked them to perform Last in Line for the Cancer Tribute performance. They only had five days to learn it, and it was a special extended version given to them by Vinnie Appice. Also some other covers to check out are Seven Nation Army, it’s a later cover, not long after Melody and Sam got their hair cut short, they donated the hair to Locks of Love, which makes wigs for cancer patients, primarily children, and Master of Puppets and Paranoid. Another original, Not Afraid is a compilation of their live performances of the song, beginning with one of Melody’s incredible screams. They posted that they’re working on a new video from their current album. Between a heavy tour schedule and Abby’s wedding in August, followed by a honeymoon and getting settled into her new home, they haven’t had much opportunity to film one. With over 12 million views, this is their most watched video ,but it is only a hint at what they can do , as you will discover as you progress down the Liliac rabbit hole. They have at least 4 dozen original and tribute covers for you to discover and enjoy , and many memorable performances . Their new album MADNESS has some amazing songs that are totally different from their usual music but are all instantly recognisable as Liliac songs and highlights their progress as professional musicians, and all accomplished with no help from the corporate music industry, just shear determination and demonstrative talent . I think it's a good concept for you to react to them chronologically as long as you do it quickly and on a regular basis, because you need to get to their latest material sooner rather than later . I am actually going to see them Thursday October 26th in the Cincinnati Ohio area, about 20 miles north of Cincy. I missed them the 1st two times they came through. I usually do not see smaller bands in smaller venues, I am a bit picky but Liliac is one I am sure will satisfy. I do go to see certain Tribute Bands, But they are some of the best of the best. Mr. Speed KISS tribute, Armaggedon Def leppard tribute, The Four Horsemen Metallica tribute, and the Wrecking Crue Motley Crue tribute. That is about it really, So needless to say I am a little excited about this show. BTW Sam has serious skills on Lead Guitar, His playing is so clean and technical.
