I'm a big critic of EA Sports and the NHL games(I never buy on launch), but come on, they added in the frost bite engine, if they didn't do that you'd still be complaining about them not doing anything.
@@HarryOsborneAS31 the actual gameplay hardly looks any different. How much do you want to bet that more than half the players on each team are STILL generic faces?
@@BoleDaPole this isn’t QMJH or even the NFL. Face shields are clear. When you get a shot of the bench and you see two or three actual players faces and the rest are generic, it’s immersion breaking. We’re looking at games with 20-30 GB file sizes in 2021. Who cares if you do ‘t usually see them?

@@NextgenPL I can go look it up and see a day-and-night difference. the camera is back so you can see what's going on. if you go in close the graphics are incredibleonce. again they're doing what they can with a sports game

So just got the game. Played that stanley cup game, Montreal vs Tampa Bay looked great. Played a regular game and it did not look the same. Also created Minnesota North Stars in create a team. Went to play a game and the numbers are blank on the jersey... on ps4
They read a script saying better stick movement, while showing a clip of the most unrealistic stick movement you'll ever see. The game could have unreal engine 5 and would still be the same.

They shouldve introduced the game with this trailer instead of the one they originally did. Also, they shouldve done buy one get both business model instead of making you shell out $100 for both PS4 and PS5 versions. Lame....
Worst part of NHL 21 was after every whistle they would take a 5 second camera cut to the audience. Like who care about seeing a fake made-up cartoon audience and then doing it over and over and over.
