Soyeon is writing 90% of all songs so I don't really see your point since it's not really a change for Miyeon, she has some creative freedom but it's not like she has to use it all the time because Soyeon writes everything. The more point is that Miyeon was able to pursue her passion in music & was able to write her song and release them in public. Their group is given a creative freedom to produce their own songs. It doesn't matter if it's not the best for you but what matters for them & for Miyeon is that they're not just an ordinary idol who depends on their company to give them songs to perform but become much more as an artists who are able to create their own songs and happily & proudly perform them on their own especially that they relate more to the songs they produced rather than faking & performing to the songs that they don't even produce nor relate to it. It's that kind of satisfaction all she wanted. You can be richer but never satisfied in life and that's more troublesome & worrying.

YG have initiated planned Blackpink to have 9 members but he leave them to 4. One of them is right now in (G)I-DLE. And I feel she fit more better there. My guess is that she didn't like the songs which were being given. (G) -idle is a self produced group and it definitely suits Miyeon. Meanwhile BP songs are not mostly self written.

Soyeon is writing 90% of all songs so I don't really see your point since it's not really a change for Miyeon, she has some creative freedom but it's not like she has to use it all the time because Soyeon writes everything. Meaning that songs are written for her like in YG. 🤷🏻♀️ I bet BP would love to get more creative freedom (especially Jennie who is basically BPs songwriting talent and Rosé who just wants to produce music and sing her emotions) but it's the company..
