Nice to see Rolling Rock beer an old Favorite of mine you certainly deserved it. You two are so full of energy. I, 'm 92 now and do all of my hunting on YT But we had a hunting cabin in Bradford Co. Pa. and my two sons and I spent many a happy weekend there. One is gone now but I have memories for a lifetime and really enjoy your videos,I suppose it,s the father, son interaction that I enjoy the most. Stay well and enjoy doing things together, time is precious and fleeting.
Its a good brew! Those memories sound truly special. It's great YT is able to provide some kind of escape so you can continue adventures through other people's experiences. PA has some beautiful wilderness! I did a bit of camping and hiking up there somewhere back in college. Great times. Keep Cherishing those you have! Thank you for watching!
It’s Awesome to see your Dad and you building a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors together! I watch these videos and am envious wishing my Dad was still here to enjoy nature with. Cherris these times together. They don’t last forever!
We're glad you're enjoying it! I'm sorry to hear about your dad. We enjoy every moment we get to spend together! Time is a funny and strange thing. It passes so slowly sometimes, but life is also so short..
Enjoying watching your hard work bud. Those old porcupines are hard on a cabin we finally had to run tin roofing around the bottom 3 feet that cured that problem
Thank you! Year, a metal skirt around the cabin might be the best answer. I keep thinking on what I want to do, but haven't decided yet. Thank you for watching!
Love watching fires burning on a rainy day. You 2 are getting the cabin land in great shape. Father and son team is awesome. Thanks for another great video.
Love the sound and smell of a campfire🔥🔥 LOL about your gloves. When I retired my wood hauling gloves, they were half duct-tape coz of the holes😆 Thanks for the fun videos.
We love fires as well!😁 Duct tape will extend the life of pretty much everything! I'll have to try that on my gloves out here. Thank you for watching! I'll do my best to keep them coming
First. Go hard Son! From Australia!! They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. Lest We Forget. When you have a Silky BigBoy in your hand you should never need to complain.
Great job. Another successful trip. Have a safe trip home and see you on your next vacation. I bought a saw like yours...great for little jobs in the yard, tree suckers, small branches on trees and shrubs.😊
And Thank you for watching! I'm happy with the spot we ended up with. We searched through a lot of properties over the years! The only difference with this one was, we actually bought it😂
When you can hear the suction from walking about its for sure drenched. Smart idea to have wood in the cabin to warm up and dry off. Not ideal conditions to work in. However great for burning your brush piles.
Suggestion for you guys...next spring or summer, before the brush starts growing, you guys come back and clear the space in front of the cabin first, and then burn the ground. That way you not only can get rid of the brush but also can harden the ground.
Hey my friend as always another great video. Very relaxing watching a fire burn. To bad it was cool and rainy. Your property is looking great after all the hard work. Take care Cheers!
@@billgoeckel6344 Yes! One will automatically post a week from Wednesday, and I will have another 2-3 videos from this trip after that. I'm currently out there now filming content and doing more projects for the next mini-series on RUclips! Stay tuned, my friend ☺
Thank you! The flood really messed things up around here, but everything will get fixed eventually. You'll see a lot of that in the upcoming mini-series after this one is finished! Thank you for watching!
Bearman MacGyver dad has the right answer. Fire beer 🍺 🌭 hotdogs. PS. Heck yes old men doing stuff. I'm 63, retired ironworker watching from wet rainy Florida. Keep up the good work men. PPS. GLOVE, OPEN SILKY, WATCH LEFT 👍🏻 ON SAW BLADE. If you can find them, pig hide leather gloves
My dad loves your comments the most. I always screen shot them and send them to him 🤣 I've got one pair of pig hide leather gloves in my stihl travel saw bag, they are great! Thank you for watching, my friend! Enjoy your retirement🤙Thank you for watching!
@@OhashiOutdoors that's is great. We're all a part of making this a better place. I loved the thumbnail picture of BEARMAN MACGYVER DAD. My son wants to go to Japan so bad. He is learning the language and translated your channel name. He's 38yrs old.
@@garywright5556 I think more people need that mindset! Your son's Japanese is very good if he can translate that kanji 😁 I'm learning the language as well. It's difficult, but fun!

As a kid used to love splitting logs for firewood for some reason For winters in....Crestline, Ca lol. Not sure if I could do alaska I love hot showers electricity and a proper crapper. Props to those of you who do this. Tough people, this aint for sissies!
I won't lie, that first shower after coming back from the cabin is the BEST! But I'm used to this kind of stuff, and love doing it on my own accord. Thank you for watching!
Careful about being too successful clearing the land. Pretty soon, you will need a riding lawnmower and a Honda 90! I'd like to see that loaded onto a Beaver float plane! And I think your Dad really needs a martini. Best TV in 'Merica - keep it up!
Thank you 🤣 Once all the stumps are gone, I'll ask my charter about flying in the riding lawn mower! I'm sure they could fit a Honda 90 in there though. We'd really get this place cleaned up with those tools out here. Thank you for watching!
@@OhashiOutdoors Editing and posting these once you have returned home must help you feel connected with your beloved cabin. You and your Dad have accomplished a LOT this trip. @@northerngardengirl It's always fun re-living the cabin trip while editing videos. I'm always filming, but not always sure how it's turning out. More episodes from this trip are coming, and I'm filming more content for the next mini-series now! Thank you for watching! ☺
Thank you! At least the work is by choice and considered fun by those doing it. It's rewarding to watch our little cabin and land improve little by little😊Thank you for watching!
That would have been a better title! I'll have to use that on a future episode. Titles are one of the hardest parts for me in making youtube videos🤣 Thank you for watching!
I think you would find a brush sythe would work better on the grass and weeds with less exertion than the thing you’re presently using . The brush sythe has a shorter and heavier blade than a grass/hay blade
That, or a week eater 🤣 I'm using a lot of the tools that were left here by the previous owner. That being said, I'll get more efficient means of cutting grass out here on a future trip! As always, I appreciate the recommendation😊Thank you for watching!
Hey, I was wondering if you learned how to start fires in the boy scouts? Lol... I use the exact method to start fires in my wood stove! You guys are sure hard workers. I'd have to take at least one snooze mid day to rejuvenate! Wish is was still in my younger years. I can still get stuff done but it takes me 5 times longer with my worn out body!! Keep up the good work.
My dad taught me the basics of starting and making fires. I spent many hours growing up building fires at his cabin. Whenever I messed up, my dad would help me re-build it and explain how fire needs oxygen, heat rises, and all the other little tricks. It's ingrained in me now 😂 You're still getting out there and doing things! That is what's important in my mind. We don't work that hard every trip. Thank you for watching!
Thats a great idea, and the second one mentioning this in this video! I'll look into wood chippers and getting one out here. I think it's a great idea!
We kept the fire going all day, and it burned all though the night to a pile of ashes. There were a few coals in the center. Overall, probably about 20 hours! Thank you for watching!
