This is why you can’t turn down fights. Ever since elementary I found out that if you’re quick to punch the first person who messes with you you’ll avoid so many future conflicts... and the opposite is the same. Also, if you corner an animal it has to fight. What old head did that the other dude didn’t is he gave the kid an exit. An easier way out than fighting. If you do that, usually a person will take that easier way out and you get most of the benefits of having won that altercation without having to risk the actual fight and ensuing fallout.
Just because Abner an old head, don’t mean B-shaw would’ve lost that. B-shaw probably would’ve whooped him, don’t jump to conclusions assuming Abner would’ve folded him easily.
