I did it before by using core wood logs when you used to be able to place campfire on them, but that has been patched out. Now instead you can build a stone floor against the tree -> place a campefire on the stone floor -> slip a wooden floor between, then break the stone floor. Other option is to raise the terrain all the way up...
Very nice video, thanks for posting it. Do you just not turn in the boss trophies or stay mostly at another base? Worried the surtlings or ice drakes could hurt that wood badly, but I love the look
An easier way to build overhanging pieces is with a floor piece. It's safe and you can easily destroy it after. I used this method to build a bridge. At left until the river ran too deep for the posts...
Appreciate the feedback. The idea is to show a bit of a "timelapse" style while explaining the process. Since the entire build happens over many hours, I've chosen to condense it this way. If you would like to watch it in full, I've streamed the entire process on RUclips and Twitch
Just interacting with chat to pump the youtube algorithms cheers brother
Great vid! Great community! Great time lapse.
Awesome video, would love to see you build an epic castle one day.
That is on the list!
That's great to hear!
This is amazing. I can’t wait for part 3
Troll takes down the tree, bye bye my home... :D
Didn't try yet but IMO it's better to raise up the ground and do a "tree house" on top of it.
Did you watch both Part 1 and this video fully? I have explained how to defend against trolls :)
I saw that you got a firecamp up there. How you manage to do it without leveling up the terrain?

Giving me Channelwood Age vibes from Myst
This is glorious! Thanks for making this video!
How did you manage to fix the roof problems? I mean, I can't make them look decent
Would be nice to add 45 degree support beams under each treehouse for aesthetic purposes.
Good idea, will have to add that to the list

What u doing when it rains and damages some of the materials? You go and make sure everything is repaired? :)
Nothing gets damaged, everything is under a roof :)
Cool! Haha
Hi Doof
This is so dope! How did get that shot at the end of you doing 360?
Simply use the cinematic camera from console commands! Check out my cinematic camera video which explains how to do this :)
Hi! How did you get this cool camera flow effect on 5:42?
I have a video on that! It's the cinematic camera called "freefly"
TY TY TY TY TY TY TY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im struggling to get the middle of the floor to be supported, any tips? :(
Find a way to connect the middle of your floor to a nearby foundational piece in as few pieces as possible, that's the general strategy!
Mate, slow down the video...It's not cool at all to watch 10x speed video playing in the background when it should be the main focus point.
Good luck.
