I was curious what you thought about this since i just released my goliath review also. Pretty much spot on with my views. Didnt know titans drop was steeper, but i didnt get any air regardless
This is the first major coaster i rode as a kid and i think it still holds up. The height and speed deliver, theres no airtime, but you'd be hard pressed to find a coaster in the world that delivers on the positive G's like this one. The closest i have felt to the forces it delivers is the helix at the end of the beast, and even then its not sustained. Titan has several seconds of sustained G's over 3Gs, absolutely nuts.
I used to think this was one of the most amazing rides ever, but I have since gained more experience. I still can appreciate it for what it does, and I always enjoy getting a few rides on my visits. In recent years, I avoid it on Saturdays, because the actual wait times are quite long. Inexperienced coaster riders love Titan, and they show up in big numbers on Saturdays. On Sundays, I'm able to find 15-minute waits into the midday. I used to grey out completely on both helixes in the past, and I loved that, but not even a slight greyout anymore. As a sentimental favorite, I still have it ahead of Shockwave for my 3rd favorite in the park. It is amazing that Titan & Goliath can ride perfectly smooth with no rattle at all, while B&Ms are plagued by that dang rattle.
Wait. What? This coaster is considered an all time great amongst *enthusiasts*, not first-time riders. First-timers typically can’t handle it. B&M hypers are designated for green riders, the Giavanolas are for the enthusiasts

SFOT is my home park and I enjoy riding Titan. The comfortable restraints, comfortable seats, the ride's smoothness, and double dose of intense positive G's are the key pros of the roller coaster. Love Goliath but it's totally missing that first upwards helix. That thing looks like it rips.
The upwards helix is the best part of Titan.
I love positive gs and find airtime highly overrated, which is why I'll always prefer hyper-twister models such as the Giovanola twins, Raging Bull, and Millennium Force. The typical out and back, repetitive up and down layouts of most B&M hypers are so mundane, predictable, and get old real fast.
Completely understandable!
Of course. The B&M ‘hypers’ are a joke. Glorified family coasters. Rides like Diamondback absolutely suck, the laziest of layouts. Titan is a work of art. It’s like the steel version of those massive, meandering Dinn woodies
How about this vs. Magnum?
While this is smoother, I prefer Magnum's powerful airtime.
Imagine if Six Flags Over Texas would've got an Arrow or B&M hyper instead
They almost got the Arrow one.
SFOT and SFMM should’ve gotten a pair of B&M hypers and idk called them “Deja Vu”?
@Monster Flame what’re you talking about..?
What would you rate Titan at Six Flags Over Texas?
See the review.
Nice view of the parks junkyard at the first and second drops. Pretty tacky.
You're going so fast at that part, you don't notice it too much.
Have I ridden this coaster before? I'd say about 500 times... or higher. My favorite coaster. Don't @ me. :P
I can definitely see why someone could love this coaster more than me because of the positive Gs.
@@CanobieCoaster I've gotten very used to its power! I guess I'm just prepping myself for i305. XD
@@Sugerloadedgirl789 i wanna go on it but i’m a little nervous 😅 is it as scary as it looks? and does it feel like you’ll fall out?
@@kayti8802 You should be fine. The restraints are one of the best! But it's no longer my favorite coaster (it's 12th now), Ah Steel Vengeance how could you. XD
What is your favorite part of the ride?
The first helix.
For me this would probably be number five at the park below NTG shockwave Mr. freeze and the Batman clone unless over Texas Batman clone is really shaky
I rank them similarly.
SFOT Batman clone is one of the more shaky ones, in my experience. I go for 1 ride on every weekend visit, but I try to get 3+ on Titan.
This is by far the best coaster in that park
I really like Titan, but I can understand why some people don't care for it. Its lack of air time makes it seem like an incomplete hypercoaster.
It's different.
Tbh I got a nice pop of airtime on the third hill going into the first helix
“Incomplete” in what way? Its a twister layout
They wait 15 minutes at most to get on this ride, every time I go to great America raging bull is at least a 90 minute wait, must be nice!
Great America is one of the busiest Six Flags parks from my experience.
Titan is the 5th best coaster at best at SFOT. I prefer New Texas Giant, Shockwave, Mr Freeze, and Batman. The only hyper I prefer Titan over is Goliath at SFMM, and that includes Desperado. It really isn't what I'm looking for in a Hyper coaster.
That's how I feel. I need to ride Desperado if it ever reopens.
Lolwut. Not only is Titan the best coaster at that park, but it’s probably the greatest “hyper” ever made. It makes those b&ms look like family coasters 😂
@@joemayo4078 i wouldn’t say it is the best hyper ever at all. It is the best ride at the park tho like imagine having shockwave and Batman over that not to be mean😂
@@Jakebtw Shockwave, NTG, & Freeze are all great coasters. 6FOTs lineup is pretty stellar. But Titan is indeed the best “hyper” (very silly term) ever made. Richard Bannister, the most famous coaster enthusiast ever, has echoed the same sentiment.
@@uncledrosselmeyer6480 actually I changed my mind and I like NTG better than titan because titan is a little more tougher and has less airtime
This ride seems to get a lot of grief. I’m sure compared to other hyper coasters, it’s not the greatest, but it is a solid ride.
True
Titan is a older Hyper Twister coaster
Yes it is.
i think the queue line is almost as the line as the ride itself.
The queue is long in terms of length.
Titan made me unable to see in the upward helix.
Those Gs are no joke.
The ride is similar ride to goliath but the extra helix so it's a bit different but titan Is a bit better though I don't enjoy either coasters so much.
And that helix is the best part.
They definitely should've gotten a B&M.
I'd prefer that.
Sarcasm? B&M hypers suck. They’re glorified family coasters. Titans upward helix is more forceful than literally any element on any b&m hyper ever lmfao
@@joemayo4078 What's a good hyper then? Did you forget about Nitro's upwards helix? How are B&M hypers "glorified family coasters"?
Well they got a Batman Inverted Clone in 1999!
q nice
Thanks!
Eh this hyper is ok it dosent do much feels like a family coaster.
It's intense in spots. It just doesn't have airtime.
@@CanobieCoaster yea it is
Literally the same as Goliath at six flags magic mountain
Minus one helix, yes.
No? Titan is longer & has an entirely separate helix that is one of the most forceful coaster elements ever made
If I am not riding judge or sream then I’m not riding this
This one is smooth but intense
goliath better
I prefer this one over SFMM's Goliath because of the extra helix.
Wait, what? You mean Titan, right? What’re you talking about ??
Everything is bigger in Texas, except roller coasters and pee pee’s for that come to Ohio 😂
This is still a big coaster though.
Titan Is A Extremely Stupid Name When You Think About It For Two Seconds The Titans Were The Same Size As Humans Thus Not Gigantic
I like the name.
@CanobieCoaster Same I Think Only Dominator And The Voyage Is Better
And I hate the drop 😒 it's so lame.
It's much weaker than you'd expect for its size.
Aka the Goliath rip off
Or the new and (slightly) improved Goliath.
Goliath Rip off? What’re you talking about??
Does Titan at Six Flags Over Texas have a longer track length than Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid? What do you think?
Titan
At Six Flags Over Texas, what do you think about Titan and Shock Wave in positive Gs?
Very strong in that department.
What do you think about both Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain and Titan at Six Flags Over Texas?
Both have great positive Gs.
Six Flags Over Texas: What do you think about Shock Wave, worse than Titan? Why?
Prefer Shock Wave. Mix of airtime and positive Gs.
Which were the worst positive Gs you got on a ride or a coaster in the world?
Not sure what the worst ones were. Probably on a ride with headbanging while they occurred.
