His childhood in a bowl😂 I love that! Tyler is like the perfect husband- always taking care of the fam- cleaning, cooking, upgrading, building he has so much energy, and humor. Buc-ees looks like a weekend trip in itself lol
I just went to a Buckees in Texas. I loved it! BTW- I know its probably rough but I LOVE December Vlogs. I watch everyone and look forward to them. as a daily treat! Jess said you might not do but, if you can. swing it.... I'll watch and comment and all the things. wink wink! Love you guys!
The tablet holder recommendation made me think how great it would be to have a video from you giving all your baby/kid product recs from a dad’s perspective! 💞
My grandma thought Buccees was just a gas station but to her astonishment, she ended up describing it perfectly as “you can do all your Christmas shopping here!”
This bologna "salad" is so much a recipe you find in your grandma's collection that she clipped out of a magazine. It feels to me like the very concept of mayonnaise. I absolutely love this for you.
I just want to give big props to your travel agency I’m working with Cheyenne to book my Disney trip and she is amazing!! I’m so impressed with her. Everyone should use your travel agency! The best
Fellow Texan here 🙋♀️ and let me just say that We LOVE our Bucee's ❤... it's a MUST STOP when onna roadtrip. They always have everything in stock & clean restrooms... They're brisket sandwich is delicious😋.... I also love collecting their tshirts 😅
Seeing the bologna salad made my heart so happy! I was born in the South & raised in the Midwest. My Grandma ❤ & I used to make bologna salad together with a hand-crank grinder. It really is so delicious! Now I want to get the KitchenAid grinder attachment & make some.
Been waiting in this vlog! We’re from Alabama and growing up my parents always drove us to Orlando also. As an adult I am not big on long road trips and will always fly if I have the choice 😂 I have some core memories from those long rides in that old Chevy Venture! Lol my parents would pack down the cooler and put it in the middle of the van between us all (my brother and his friend got the back row, I and my friend had the middle seats) and we’d all be passing those jug juice drinks, sodas, and making sandwiches. We knew we were getting closer when we stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. It was like a 12 hour drive for us, and my parents took turns and just drove it straight through the night so we’d sleep.
This honestly felt like a Good Morning hug. To just wake up, pick up my phone and find this… Nothing better! Especially after a long and emotional week. I, too, have heard a ton about Bucees. One is actually coming out west here to Arizona. I am just 20 minutes from Disneyland and I am totally planning to take a road trip to the new Bucees when it opens. lol Thanks for sharing your Disney trip with us. Have a beautiful weekend. Lots of hugs and love to you guys! 💛
I was just about to turn off the TV and go to bed, but then I saw this video!! I enjoyed this vlog so much, Tyler! Thank you and Jess for filming your road trip! They are the best! ❤
I’m dying laughing the entire time. We just drove 14 hours from Ohio to Disney last week. Buc’ees is my husband favorite place as well, always have to stop in Richmond, KY. I loved watching you with the house vacuum vacuuming the car. I do that too 😂 Oh I love this and your vlogs.
When we did road trips with our young kids we always left super early, we would pull them from their bed with their pj's on and put them in their car seats and that way they could sleep a couple hours during the ride and then we manage to avoid a lot of traffic.
We travel from Indy to Disney whenever we go! Such a long trip! 😅 we just stopped at Buccees for the first time in September, and our 3 year old is obsessed!
This video brought me right back to my childhood. We took family vacations a few times a year in the station wagon. We never flew, always drove. The longest I think was from KC Missouri (where I grew up and my parents still live) to Los Angeles. I remember "camping" in the car on an indian reservation some where along the way. Mostly I remember all the amazing memories we made. Also from a two daughter family, so there are many ties that make y'all feel like family, too. Have a safe and wonderful trip, and as my dad always said: "making memories is cheap therapy". Have a blast!! 🥳
We have been driving from NJ to Florida since my twins were 22 months old! We always say it’s part of the adventure of going to Florida for vacation! The boys are pretty use to it by now and they are 12 years old. Matter fact, we leave for Florida on Saturday so it was nice to follow along always enjoy a good Braun family Vlog! Looking forward to all the Disney blogs coming!
Buccee suckies 😂 ☠️ I live in Cincinnati and I love stopping at buccees when we travel south. The chocolate covered pecans are the best! They also have the cleanest bathrooms and I really appreciate that!!
Aww cute my parents when we were kids would drive from Jersey. the biggest memory I have from those trips that felt the most exciting and magical were my dad waking us up super early for the roadtrip. Great vlog hope you had a great trip :)
Bologna salad, ham salad...fro. one Hoosier to another, so good! Was always a tradition in my family for bridal showers, baby showers, etc. Makes me think of my grandma. That and pink drink made with Hawaiian Punch, 7-Up, and vanilla ice cream! Takes me back to my youth!
My whole family is from the Midwest. I was recently talking about ham salad that we had at the church where our cottage was. But it’s different than yours. This was legit ham, chopped very fine, pickles, mayo, probably a little mustard and shredded cheese. Yummmmm❤ I live in the south now and have never heard of anyone making it. I told my husband that next time we have leftover ham, I was going to make some. I love Buccee’s❤
I'm rewatching as the first time I listened to it with my kids and I spent more time listening to their comments. They were like oh this is my favorite part, I looked at the screen and it was the car wash lol. And now we have to check out Buc-ee's, like who needs Disney let's travel from Canada to check out a cool gas station lol. Kids are so funny.
I live in PA & I've had that before - we eat it as a sandwich, but add onions & a little mustard, swap it out with sweet pickles - YUM! I have to go to the store for the bologna now 🙂
Western NY here and I grew up making and eating ham salad (ham, pickles, onion, celery put through an ol’ crank grinder and then mixed with mayo & seasonings). To this day I still make it once a year (with a modern food processor) just for a taste of childhood 🐖 Glad I’m not the only one with this childhood memory 😅
I had never had a ham salad until I went to Germany. They have fleischsalat. The one I had was sliced, and no eggs, but similar thing. Loved it and made a version when I got home.
Hi Tyler i am from the south and we grew up eating ham salad..but we made it with ham!! Glad you stopped at Bucci's..everyone needs to experience that. Love your vlogs and waiting on the next! Hope you guys are having fun!❤💀👻🧙♀️
We had a full day yesterday…but boy did I jump outta bed, put the coffee on and thought there is no better way to start my Sunday!, thank you Brauns! Fingers crossed you’re going to do Vlogmas…PPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE!❤️🇨🇦

I have only been to Buc-ee's once in Texas several years ago, but it was awesome. Now, one is supposed to be coming to Arizona (near where I live), and I am SO EXCITED!!!
From the South here and we eat ham salad. But it’s made with ground ham as the name suggests. I love all kinds of salads (ham, egg, chicken) so I would expect it is delicious.
Fellow Hoosier here!! I remember my Grandma and Dad would make the Indiana Caviar (Ham Salad) with the hand crank. I am glad you call it "ham salad" even though it's made with bologna. Bugs me when people call it "bologna salad".
We did a road trip to Disney last with my son , daughter in-law a 2 and 3 year old in a mini van from Pa . We stopped like every 3 hrs for the kids to get out , they found little play grounds in different states. With one night stay in NC , where family came to visit us at hotel. Yess you have to do Buccees. Also a box in between their seats with favorite toys, and we did have a little cooler and a bag with all their snacks and fruit.
New subscriber to both your & Jessica’s channels. Enchanted with you and your family! Thanks for sharing your trip! Looking forward to future travels and life with y’all❤
Omg this makes me so happy. We road trip to Disney about 5x a year. It’s 8.5 hrs for us but being able to drive to the parks with a almost 3 & 4 year old is top tier worth it for me to not have to deal with a stroller on the bus 😂 also as someone who lives in Chattanooga, I geeked out a little bit when you said you stopped in our city lol
I'm from Colorado and bologna salad sandwiches was part of my childhood too 😊. Mom never made it but we would go to the deli every saturday morning in the summer after garage sales. Bucce's is great, i usually visit the store when i visit my son in Houston but we just got a new one built here in colorado about 20 min from where i live 😊 . thank you for sharing your vlogs❤
The way this video almost romanticized the drive down to Florida from the Tri-State area when I KNOW it's not a fun one 😅😂 glad you guys made it safely!
A road trip AND Disney trip with Tyler and Jessica?!? Who else is pumpedddd!! 🙌🙌😂
Your vlogs are my favorite to watch on RUclips. Please don’t stop. It brings me so much happiness 💜

Buccee’s needs its own episode.

Buccee’s was the highlight of our 14 hour drive home from Disney last week! What a unique place!
INDIANA CAVIAR 😂😂😂 I love you mid-westerners more & more each day. Big Gretch & Coach Walz put y'all on the map for me. 😊
The tablet holder recommendation made me think how great it would be to have a video from you giving all your baby/kid product recs from a dad’s perspective! 💞

As a Texan, the Buc-ee’s stop brought me joy.

When you said “Louisville” correctly, it made my Kentucky heart so happy ❤😂
Ham salad is def a thing here in PA! And the fuss about Buccees is so real! Absolutely love it. I first went to the biggest one in Katy, TX
The Buccees billboards reminded me of Aunt Sally's Pecan Pralines from I Love Lucy 😂
Lol I love the "Bucky wakey-uppies"
So excited for Braun Family Disney vlogs!! ❤
I love this!! I'm also from Indiana, and my family always drives to Disney World!
This honestly felt like a Good Morning hug. To just wake up, pick up my phone and find this… Nothing better! Especially after a long and emotional week.

A Braun vlog is a must watch but I really enjoyed this one!! ❤
My mom is from Nebraska. I grew up in California and we have “ham salad” every summer. So midwest!!!
Road tripping from Columbus OH to Orlando next month for the first time since my childhood 🤓 excited for all the buccees along the way
I was weirdly excited to see Buc-ees on the thumbnail. 😅 it’s a road trip must!
You gotta try the Bucees brisket sandwich and the brown sugar pecans.

I like the way you edited this one, Tyler. Makes me want to take a road trip!
I love road trips! My family and I are from Chicago and we drive every April and October!
When we did road trips with our young kids we always left super early, we would pull them from their bed with their pj's on and put them in their car seats and that way they could sleep a couple hours during the ride and then we manage to avoid a lot of traffic.
I clicked on this video because you had Bucees on the thumbnail...lol! 😄 I been to one, it's insane. I love road trips!
the newly renovated rooms are giving sad, millennial grey with a touch of ft. wilderness.
Looks like the sad version of Wolf Lodge
I wish everyone would stop with gray. Ugh. So sad.
Tyler always gives the best Midwestern Dad Vibes (tm). Love the Braun family!❤
Kansan here and ham (bologna) salad was very much a part of my upbringing!
Y’all are the cutest.
Ohio here! We drive to Disney too! 14 hours! 2 kids we stop half way and relax and explore new areas! We love doing it road trip style
We travel from Indy to Disney whenever we go! Such a long trip! 😅 we just stopped at Buccees for the first time in September, and our 3 year old is obsessed!

Eastern Europeans add boiled potatoes and peas and call is salad Olivye. You just chop everything up and mix it together. Yum!
