They lost any sympathy when they tried to invoke Chinese laws while in the UK. If they had tried to ask him to stop filming because it might get them into trouble back home, I'm fairly sure he would have reacted in a more favourable manner.
China people are not taught to negotiate in a civilized manner. They believe that whoever shouts the loudest and being a hooligan will win. The CCP under Xi Jinping. Bullies and hooligans don't want your respect but your fear
I watched live on the day. It escalated very quick and is still going on. He plays boogie woogie tunes mainly on the piano donated by Elton John. Brendan has given away the copyright to that video and he asked for it to be shared should it be taken down. It is crazy right now.
Same here! I was out in my garage working away and had the livestream going. I was shocked that I was witnessing a live display of the CCP’s wolf-warrior mentality. Please spread this, as it’s important for the world to see the way this nonsense works. They literally shoehorn every western sensitivity into the arguement to try and manipulate the situation. On top of that, the connections that these people have to the CCP is very suspicious. Our democracies and freedoms are intolerable to them.
Did the REAL DEAL get taken down? I hope that DR. K got a copy of the vid. ( LIVE-STREAM) Maybe DR. K should have asked those idiots, " When did WE suddenly get transported to China?"
@@fdx997 I saw a video that re-hashed this situation and there was a VERY quick clip at the beginning of Chinese people singing something about "WE WILL RULE THE WORLD!" Can we say a BIT arrogant??
I've been a subscriber of Brendan's for a long time. I watched this the day of. They have been sending him email threats...thousands. Carrie, the lady cop needs to be reprimanded.
@@speedysmoke Her name is actually Kerry. We saw her a few weeks ago in the station, not long after meeting Brendan at the piano (he's a great guy, by the way) and we shouted "Hello Kerry" to her. She smiled but we could hear the cogs whirring, "Who the hell are they..?!" 🤣 She's probably still wondering how we knew her name 😆
I personally think the whole "don't touch her!" thing was an attempt to draw attention from the public in the hopes that they would turn against Brendan, to try and shame him in to backing down or running away, but it didn't work. And I think there are plenty of police officers that would have reacted very differently to the female officer you see. I think he was just unlucky as to which officers arrived.
but if you watch the whole video you will see that most of the time the Chinese guy was saying dont touch her Brendan had his hands in his pockets so obviously was not intending to touch anyone.
I personally hate people who cannot keep their hands to themselves eg putting arms/ hands on shoulder while taking to you, touching your waist to guide move you aside in a crowd etc or patting you on the back or arm while talking. Who do they think they are?
The Shouty guy and the lady in the read dress is part of the Communist China's United Front Work Department in Britain even though they are British Citizen(Trojan Horse). This United Front is a high level and well funded department that works as a operative for Communist China's interest overseas. This group operates out of Chinese embassy or consulate offices and is responsible for infiltration into host country's politics, spying on overseas dissidents which includes intimidation, running of Confucius Institution in colleges, Universities in the Western Democracy countries to influence young students and among many others running "Honey Trap" of people holding important offices in Western countries. These people also organize functions for local politicians to meet visiting CCP's officials and Embassy staffs. Everyone in the free world should be aware of United Front and group like OCAO Overseas Chinese Affairs Office etc.
This is the confusing part - China doesn't allow dual-citizenship. If you accept citizenship from another country, you are no longer a Chinese citizen, according to Chinese law. Maybe this group, with close ties to the CCP, operates with a secret set of laws that allows them dual-citizenship???
Nice bit of imformation there, and just confims what i thought when i was watching this live stream as these people were not normal people, and now wexall know they are ccp member.....and of course the police should not have just taken their word on what happened.
Before Brendan started his livestream he was filming another video for youtube and the chinese lady in the red dress and one of the chinese guys actually came up to him while he was playing. The chinese guy also sat at the piano and played some music himself, all very friendly with no problems. Later during the livestream some more senior members of their party arrived and thats what you are looking at here
Using the females to appear friendly to draw Brendan out ! Taking advantage of the friendly and tolerant English ? Big gob ? If he said " Do not touch her " once he must have said it a hundred times ! He was cruising for a bruising that Chinese lad !
He wasn't filming them he was filming himself they put themselves in the footage big difference to following them around filming them specifically. Can't believe our university's sell these clown educations. @@sunseeker9581
@@sunseeker9581 GDPR, (General Data Protection Regulations) only applies to organisations, not individuals. The general public are free to record (almost) anything in public, and Archie is correct, there is no expectation of privacy from any space visible from a public space. There is a caveat though, for tax purposes some of these streamers and RUclipsrs are not operating as sole traders / self employed, (a grey area in itself, technically GDPR still applies to sole traders, though less likely to be enforced.) They're instead operating under a LTD company that they've set up. This is a dangerous game, because eventually somebody (the authorities) will catch on to the fact that this makes them a... Yep you guessed it... Very obviously an organisation. Technically then GDPR would apply to them. Edited to add, NK-bj8li is also right, there's a whole other 'private property' issue. My understanding of this is that in the eyes of the law, anywhere freely accessible to the public counts as a public place, so filming is not illegal. However, the owners of the property can impose their own terms and conditions of entry, then they can remove you and trespass / ban you if you do not comply. None of that really applies here though, it's a train station.
Classic example there of the UK cop just wanted HIM to back down and take the blame because it’s generally easier than having to call out the Chinese people for overreacting.
@@ZhenYae Are they in China or the UK? It’s a simple statement of fact, nothing racist. If they had a problem with being filmed in a foreign country, in a public space, it’s probably not a good idea to travel overseas.
That's what I thought too. It's very simple -- If they don't want to be filmed or they don't want their Voices captured on video, all they had to do was walk away, but no. That guy just kept yammering, and yammering, and yammering, and yammering. What an idiot.
I am a Chinese who was born in China and grew up in Hong Kong. Technically it's not a communist flag, but the communist party in China came up with this flag before China became China today, in China only has one party and one party rules all. And all Chinese media companies have a department that regulates their speech. What do they publish for any TV station. Therefore, Brendan kavana was right that they are communist, and the term communist in mainland China is a compliment. It's a positive thing. That's how funny and contradictory of their reaction is.😂
Watch Brendan's back catalogue - he is a wonderful pianist and has a brilliant way of interacting with members of the public, often dancers or singers who join in the fun as they pass through the station.
If we are confused by the reaction of the shouting man, it is because we do not understand the character or culture of some of the people in mainland China. There have been many reactions on YT from the Chinese community defending Brendan and they have tried to help us understand a bit more of what went on. Apparently the shouting was a way to stop the discussion and get the upper hand, regardless of whether what was being said made any sense or had anything to do with anything. It was just an aggressive move that apparently people from mainland China do in arguments to assert their authority. This has been shared by youtubers from Hong Kong and Taiwan who were not surprised by the way the situation went down, since I assume they have had some experience dealing with those types of people.
During a disagreement, when one person says "this is the end of the conversation" it means they know that they are in the wrong at least 90% of the time.
Your video starts well into the encounter. It started when the Chinese came to Brendan, shook his hand, motioned for the other Chinese to join them, danced with Brendan, as one played the piano for Brendan, then, when the Communist handler shows up,(in the background), suddenly the friendly Chinese become hostile..
Brendan has been producing live streams at his site for many years. Congratulations to the CCP for converting a cheerful entertaining performer into a global activist for freedom. If you have not subscribed to Brendan before please do so now and join his millions of happy viewers.
I’ve been following his channel for years and until now he’s never done anything political he specializes in public piano and playing a style called boogie Woogie. And he’s been playing at the same public piano forever with no incidents and now all of a sudden these Chinese communists make an issue of it.
I’ve watched a few of these videos, including the original one in full and I think as Brendan calls him, the shouty guy, starts shouting because he knows he’s not getting anywhere so he starts arguing to try and look stronger.
It was like I extend my goodwill to welcome a stranger to my home. And this stranger has absolute rights to set rules in my house telling me what to do in my own home? Bizarre.
@@ZhenYae No one is complaining about their speech. We are criticising the man falsely accusing s*xual harassment, falsely accusing racism, threating personal retribution, wasting police time. Do you see the difference between those things and free speech? I agree, there's a degree of nuance.
I was watching the live stream at the time and his content is full of drama. It's well worth a subscribe. His friend is Terry Miles who also has his own piano playing channel with public piano videos. Both channels are very entertaining.
Elton John donated the pianoto the space. They were trying to make a TV shoot for the Chinese New Year show. Even the Chinese people are dissing their people here.
The chinese flag. Its my understanding the red represents the revolution. The big gold star represents the CCP communist party. And the four smaller stars represent the Chinese people. So i would think it can be termed as a " communist flag"
The shouting guy is Newton Leng. He lives and works in London and is well-aware of the laws that, like the USA, you have no expectation of privacy in a public space, and can be filmed without your permission. The girl that initially tried to get Brendan to stop filming, is being sued in China for using someone else's image rights without permission. Besides being a teacher and consultant with strong ties to the Chinese Communist Party, Mr. Shouty (Leng) is also something of a capitalist - he's now selling T-shirts with "Don't touch her!" printed on them, available in sizes S to 2XL. Also, the video that they're desperately trying to get taken down is still there and now has over 9.3M views. I've also heard reports that the CCP is trying to distance themselves from these "Little Pinks" (unpaid CCP activists) to avoid bad publicity (umm, I think it's a bit late for that!). Finally, the main video doesn't show an earlier interaction with these Little Pinks, where they were happy to be meeting Dr. K. and were dancing and playing the piano. (That video is on Brendan's channel.) It seems to me that the Little Pinks were looking for their 15 minutes of fame, which they got. Unfortunately, that fame is also, apparently, coming with vitriol and death threats from around the world.
The public piano in the railway station was actually provided by Sir Elton John. Legally in the UK with certain exceptions your are able to video in a public space Based on my understanding of British law as an Australian. Worth noting Brendan has played the piano with Chinese tourists on a number of occasions with much enjoyment and respect.
If the data captured is for commercial reasons, you really need consent. RUclips channel that is monetized is considered commercial. Whilst there is no general ‘image right’ or right to control one’s likeness under English law, there are other rights which apply to the use of a person’s image which RUclipsrs should consider. This is particularly the case when filming in the street/public area, as it might be easy to inadvertently capture passers-by on camera. Ideally, before exploiting the film, you should obtain direct consent from anybody appearing on camera. Human Rights and the Data Protection Act everybody has a right to a respect for their private and family life, their home and their correspondence. Though it is unlikely that publication of an image of a person carrying out an ordinary task in a public place (i.e. going to the shops) would amount to misuse of private information. The key question is whether the person in question had a reasonable expectation of privacy in respect of the image. This needs to be considered on a case-by-case basis, as the assessment will vary depending on what the person is doing and who they are. Even though these Chinese inserted themselves, escalated and in my opinion committed a public order offence (the guy) they have every right under the acts to request that their images are not used or at least blurred out, because the content was a live stream, i suspect full deletion of the content was a reasonable request. 99% of people won't know or don't bother about these rights. I suspect if civil action is brought against Brendan, then he will have a hard time winning the case. I also suspect Brendan is not registered as a data handler (he should be) nor has public liability insurance (he should have) although i'm only speculating regarding this.
There is another video before this, when the Lady in Red approached Brendan, and they chatted away. She then said one of the group played piano, so Brendan moved to the side to let the Chinese man play the piano. So the Chinese man played some tunes. It was all very cordial. THEN, the vocal man... appeared and it all kicked off. Funnily enough, I think that may actually be one of the pianos Elton John gifted as a free piano, 😂 for the public to play, in Railway Stations, shopping malls, airports etc... IN PUBLIC.
if that incident had been in newcastle, that annoying shouter would be in hospital right now. His crappy attitude would have gotten a fast response.....
The woman and the guy on camera were actually laughing and joking with him. It was their "Handler" that kicked off. She already shook his hand, and her friend had a go on the piano.
She must have become younger and in need of the boss's protection later in the video. She didn't seem worried about the age gap when she was laughing and shaking Brendan's hand.
I think there was some initial confusion which wasn't shown in this clip where the person filming had arranged for some Japanese people to be in the video and the group of Chinese people were initially mistaken for the Japanese group. That aside it just shows how useless and ill informed some of our police are, there were also 2 male officers which seemed to de-escalate the situation but the female officer really didn't have a clue.
I think she is actually a transportation officer and was just trying to de-escalate things. She isn't a bad person at all; she just didn't know what had happened. kavanaugh was right to stick up for his rights.
@@siameseire if she didn't know what happened, isn't it her job to investigate what happened? instead, she took one statement as the truth and dismissed the other party (the pianist)
You must watch the original live stream, it is a bit long, but never boring! A comedy of errors by everyone, with excellent camera work and audio recording, especially considering it was only a phone live streaming. Full marks to the camera lady :). And always remember when watching that Dr K. is an entertainer, always aware of his camera, and as he said half way through, "this is making excellent TV"!
The bear has been used as a symbol of ridicule as it kind of looks like the Chinese leader Xi personally i found his actions childish and insulting.@@markwalker2627
Xi jinping looks like Winnie the Pooh and he’s created a cult of personality around him and has decided it is offensive to equate him with Winnie. So now it’s illegal to have Pooh anywhere. You WILL be thrown into prison if you carry around Pooh in China.
The reason the mouthpiece said 'you are not the same age' and kept saying 'do not touch her' was so he could edit the clip later and falsely implicate Dr K for inappropriate behaviour. It was premeditated.
I was watching the live stream of this. I have watched his channel for some time now. He is normally not political. I think he just felt that someone was attempting to trample on his rights and became defensive. In my opinion they were looking by to start a fight. Earlier in the stream they had come up and the girl with the red jacket that looked like it covered a very short dress, white tights, and huge black shoes, was dancing to his music. And the shouting man even took a place at the piano for a bit. They went back to spectating and filming him. Then they approached. They were poised with an argument ready. They had the idea that could just call him racist and everyone would just be on their side. When that didn’t work they tried to use something that normally no one would dare to argue with, pedophilia. That is why he screamed “Don’t touch her? You are not the same age.” The problem was his translation to English, didn’t translate. A little background, the woman who stood in the back on the right side of the screen was discovered by MI6 to be a spy. By the time it had been discovered and she was outed, she had already infiltrated the UK government. It is my belief and I am not claiming it as fact as I cannot prove it, that they were sent by the Chinese government. That being said, that is not the fault of the average Chinese citizens. From other videos I have scene of people living there, the Chinese social media comments reflect and attitude that demonstrates that they see it as absurd as we see it. They are full of statements like, “she walked into his filming.” And “why did they stay if they didn’t want to be filmed?” I honestly do not think this would have been an issue if it had been just regular tourist. But no one who is born in a free country should ever just let someone trample on their rights. It’s a slippery slope and when they get some taken, it doesn’t take much to take them all.
I have seen the video, and I like hearing what other people's reactions to it. There are more recordings about this situation on RUclips. The guy just wanted to play the piano and that's it. I live in Toronto Canada, and the public transport includes a subway. The stations provide areas for people to play their music. Mostly guitars. I don't understand what the issue is. Also the Chinese Communist Party decided to ban Winnie The Pooh. They decided to ban a bear.
Yep, most probably being payed by some schmuck!!all planned to get Brendan into trouble ! Well let's face it he ticks all the boxes WHITE ! MALE , ENGLISH , ENJOYS MUSIC , CHEERS OTHERS UP AND A STRAIGHT HETROSEXUAL BOXES TICKED
Just a point of clarification. It's the British Transport Police not tbe local police who are responsible for law & order at railway stations and the entire rail network, including London Underground and DLR. BTP is funded by Network Rail, the train operating companies and Transport for London.
Interesting to get your perspective, thank you! By the way, the lady and her companion were initially friendly and they even played the piano and danced next to Brendan, so Brendan hadn't hogged the piano. It was as if they then planned to be disruptive after another person arrived on the scene, she had been named by the MSM a few months back as infiltrating the British Parliament. Anyhow here are two videos that add more info. See 'Piano Showdown: Brendan Kavanagh Takes On Communist China' and also 'Another Chinese Spy IDENTIFIED Following Piano Incident'
Never tell an Englishman what he can and can't do in his own country as Brendan said if he was in China and a similar situation he would respect China laws but not in London lol
Brendan Kavanaugh's Livestream, which included this incident, is only 37 minutes long. There's an earlier Livestream, he posted, where Adelina Zhang dances, and a Chinese man played the piano.
In short: The man has done nothing wrong under UK law. In long: The first law is ‘members of the public do NOT need a permit to film or photograph in a public space and police have no power to stop them, including when filming police personnel. The next thing that comes into play is ‘reasonable expectation of privacy’. In a public place ,like a park, u’d have a reasonably low expectation of privacy; whereas, in a private place, like ur house, u’d have a high expectation of privacy. (It is important to note, if u photograph from a ‘public place’ that captures a ‘private place’, this would be classed as invading privacy) In a busy train station surrounded by commuters and tourists I doubt u can have much expectation of privacy. Technically the train station is privately owned by national rail; however, all this means is that up to the point someone from National Rail tells him to stop filming, he is not committing a crime. (Some stations do have bylaws, but this does not apply here) After this, ‘intent’ and ‘decency’ would apply, which are huge factors in UK law. If you intentionally film something or someone to show them in an indecent manner, this is illegal. Thirdly, if the intent of the video is commercial, then u could be asked to no longer film someone; however, this in precedence this only applies to large ‘film-scale’ productions with multiple cameras, lights and mics. At the point in the livestream when the Chinese man repeatedly states ‘stop touching her’, the British man, in-fact touched the Chinese flag which they were holding. This is seen as disrespectful in China and Chinese citizens are required to protect the flag under Chinese law, which brings be only my next point. China has a set of laws which it requires Chinese citizens to follow when abroad. Unfortunately in many cases, as seen here with the privacy in photography laws, these clash with the countries laws. When in a country, you MUST follow the countries laws; if an American walked through central london with a shotgun they would be pinned to the ground, arrested, and charged; and them quoting the 2nd amendment wouldn’t stop that. The same applies here. At the end the police officer has not right under Uk law to ask the man to stop filming, and eventually the Chinese walk away, as the man had suggested, and the Police went about their day. Just shows how important it is to know the law as even law enforcement don’t always get it right immediately.
The police often say or do something that they think will cause them the least amount of work, which often means that the confrontation does not end in a fight.
Not defending the ridiculously stupid over reaction, but they weren't in a public place but private property,. Theoretically to film or take photos at a train station you need to previously get permission, so they can be told by an officer or member of staff to stop doing so.
earlier prior to this, the woman in the elegant red dress was in the camera and he talked to her. was very very kind and fun. she danced, was net to a guy in a grey sweater. he even aseked the guy to play, he did. and complimented him. the shouting guy works for financial someting indistruy who had some ties to teh CCP, he alos has ties to the confucious institute, and if you se that lady in the grey way further bak in the background next to the whie guy, she is an actaul chinese spy
They are Chinese ethnically. The Chinese girl in the red outfit claimed she was British, yet was waving a CCP flag and using CCP law in the UK to protect her claimed "image rights". None of it made sense. The female cop was wrong going by UK law. It was all over the place. This Chinese girl who's flag he touched, was previously approached Brendan and was shaking his hand and dancing with Brendan, whilst another Chinese guy was playing the piano. All whilst the camera was running. Then later a woman allegedly identified as a CCP spy who had been outed by Mi5 ( British Secret Service ) appeared in the background of the video. They were what is known as "Little Pinks" Go look it up.

There is a video of Americans claiming the 5th amendment in England when asked by police to stay where they are as possible witnesses after an incident occurred at a venue they were at, claiming the police had no rights to detain them. Sounds similar!
If you watch the entire video, you will see that at first, they were playing and dancing with him then suddenly this incident happened. The video is much longer.

And also he was sharing himself. He didn’t start recording them until they approached him so that’s not an issue, and then they tried saying he was racist, which saying they were communist for waving communist flags is not being racist, but of course they drop the race card to shut down conversation as usual
Sure, why not. That clown succeeded painting all Chinese with the same brush. He cannot say that they are not in China anymore. Fact is, Americans and the English veto not to stop the genocide in Gaz. There. Anti CPC and Anti Chinese is not allowed😊😊😊
People have been more disappointed with the BTP police officer here. She should have de-escalated by simply telling the flag wavers that it's a public space and Brendan can film what he likes but no, instead she got into an unnecessary discussion about race, language etc etc. All irrelevant. Some days following this, the protagonists then took to Tiktok and edited and reposted the RUclips stream to fit their own narrative. If you watch the RUclips comments on this, most of the Chinese people that have reacted agree with Brendan's position so the flag wavers are fighting a losing battle. What a bunch of clowns.
Nah. Just delusional on the part of the collective west. Projection, really. They did nothing of the sort saying he cannot record in public. None whatsoever. Maybe it's the English speaking crowd getting it all wrong. 😂😂
Here in the UK we don't have freedom of speech like the US but we have a watered down version, The new hate speech laws have been used to silence the public in certain circumstances.
I heard the police have been sending warnings to people on social media if they post something perceived as hate speech. We here in the USA take our first amendment very serious. There are no hate speech laws in the USA. That being said you can still be chastised by your community, ie loose your job etc if you are blatant about racist or hateful language, but you can’t be arrested and put in jail over it.
@@BostonBobby1961 . It depends on what you mean by pushing the envelope. Many racist jokes, years back, would be unacceptable today and most people would not consider them funny.
The video actually starts with everyone getting on well. One of the Chinese guys takes his coat off and plays the piano. It all changes when a middle aged Chinese woman turns up, she apparantely is some kind of Chinese Communist Party official. Weird.
I think that it's St. Pancras station (which is the other side of the road to King's Cross but joins on underground) where, as well as trains to the East Midlands and Sheffield (hooray - the ones that connect with my local trains) is also is the Eurostar terminus (high speed trains to and from the continent) and had a small fortune spent on it to bring it back to it's full Victorian splendor along with upmarket shops, bars, restaurants, and, yes, a piano. This was to stop The French laughing at us when they arrived in London but has probably been unsuccessful as firstly they will probably notice that we have just under 70 miles of high speed track whereas they have hundreds and, secondly, the Gare du Nord, at the Paris end is supposed to be a dump. Anyway, it's better than the original terminus which rather tastelessly had Eurostar trains terminating and starting at Waterloo!! King's Cross, I believe, is a nightmare of 1960's modernism, but I've hardly ever used it so it may also have been improved (and, possibly, even have it's own piano!!)
There are too many foreign nationals coming to the UK trying to impose their laws and way of life onto us. We are a very cosmopolitan nation and welcome all peoples from across the world but please respect our laws, culture and way of life. Your country, your rules but this is our country with our rules. If visitors or immigrants don't like it you are free to leave so please close the door on your way out.
There is a short video of them interacting before this. And she shook his hand. So the age thing had nothing to do with anything. And they were dancing and enjoying the music. Then suddenly it turned into this. They found out he had 2 million followers and didn't want to be involved anymore. Then using the race card for calling them Chinese. Which is what they are. What was he supposed to call them in this situation? I've neve heard of that being racist in my life
And it's a big loss of face to the Chinese government when this also went viral on the Chinese Internet and the majority of Chinese sided with the pianist, not to mention the government couldn't keep up with the virality in censoring it. Also, if you've watched the videos on his channel, he's played at the same piano countless times in the past and the police have been called on him occasionally but I think every time, they went over the rules of the place and determined that he wasn't breaking any rules so he clearly knows he's in the right. I'm not sure if he'd have the same confidence holding off the Chinese agitators if this was his first time playing at a particular location. And the police officer - he seems to address her by her first name which means she's probably a regular there.
It was probably not his previous filming at all - they wanted to go on the piano (donated by Elton John) and film a piece showing some of them and put it on national Chinese TV for their new year, and seems they had their own contract with the TV company. Brendan correctly insisted he could film for his livestream broadcast, as he does when whosoever arrives to play after him (he likes to join in and always turns the song into a Boogie Woogie duet sadly).
He is a piano player who always winds up the authorities, even to the point of playing “The Pink Panther” theme when police walk by. On at least one occasion he was escorted from the station by police after arguing with a station official over playing a piano that had been moved to a “non-public” area. He was asked to stop but just carried on and berated the employee for basically being a jobsworth who couldn’t tell him what to do. He has obtained tens of thousands of new subscribers over the last week or so through his actions.
Brenda's has put a video on RUclips, of a song about "The Shouty Man, Don't Touch Her". Also what doesn't show in that video, is that the Chinese lady with the hat came over to Brenda's and said her friend would like to play. Brendan got up and let him play. He looked like a slightly slimmer version of the North Korean leader, to me. On another occasion while he was filming a lady came and asked him to stop playing as they were from Channel 4 TV and the were making a film on public pianos. He asked if he could appear in it, but she politely declined, but did go and get him a cup of coffee. He carried on playing till a gent came and asked him to stop for a few minutes while they filmed a scene. He stopped till they came and said he could carry on now.
That was rather comical. As Brendan said, how ironic to do a show about public pianos, but we don't want you playing on a public piano while we are doing our show. Lol
I saw that video too. The Brazilian lady was polite and the conversation friendly. She has a high IQ (and EQ ). She got him to stop for a few minutes while they filmed. That seemed all very civil.
I think we have ‘freedom of expression’ as opposed to ‘freedom of speech’. A subtle difference - you just can’t be too disrespectful to our fellow citizens. This clip , clearly, doesn’t even come close !
4:11 this is the point they broke the law and it became a breach of the peace. If he had barked at a northerner like that he would have started swinging, just as he backed 9ff, in the north that would have been a direct threat and challenge. Whoever he barked at would probably have started swinging, and seeing that his mates seeing the odds would be right in... They did this in London, down south knowing it was more likely to become a political event... I'm guessing it was staged by the Chinese and the way the female Police officer handled it was absolutely unforgivable. They've done another video of the two dressed as police offices in an attempt to recover something from the utter contempt many feels about our own police not upholding our laws and sending the Chinese on their way or arresting them. Not one pointed out there were dozens of cameras they had passed and everyone from the council to MI5 had their "IMAGE"... It's a transit station there would be cameras everywhere, there is no right to image or privacy in public, and in transit area you are monitored and awful lot more. They know that, so it was a political event they sought to enact...
Indeed he would. I've lived in Northern England all my life, 60+ years, and if he'd bellowed like that at some of the guys I know, he'd have come round on the ground, seeing stars.
The Chinese knew it was legal to film in public , they were filming also . They just didn't want to be filmed by him ( they said that to him) someone with a popular money making chanel , while they did their performance .
Interesting to note ... the piano player didnt care so much when the other big white guy agressivly demanded not to be filmed . The camera obeyed that demand straight away .
@@centrodelarosa7122 "the other big white guy" was invited the Chinese group descended upon the event as if they had control and governance. They didn't. They could have gone anywhere else, as the piano wasn't going anywhere. They created the scene and then escalated it, that was a breach of the peace! There was no legitimate reason for them to have taken such exception under UK law. They became confrontational, and created a public order issues. A proper police officer should have just advised them of their status (breaking the law) and moved them on, advising them if they didn't they'd be arrested.

The Shouty guy and the lady in the read dress is part of the Communist China's United Front Work Department in Britain even though they are British Citizen(Trojan Horse). Under English Common Law, there is no expectation of privacy in a public space. Mainland Chinese have a very poor reputation across Asia.

That's how funny and contradictory of their reaction is.😂
Don't try applying your home laws in a foreign country. That's impolite at best.

Heaps, and sick of it.

If one does not wish to be on camera then don't bloody stand in front of it, common sense.
Love this guys stuff. I subscribe to Brendan’s channel
The public piano in the railway station was actually provided by Sir Elton John.
Legally in the UK with certain exceptions your are able to video in a public space
Based on my understanding of British law as an Australian.
IN PUBLIC.
Where i'm from, if a person yelled at you like that, you would be picking your teeth up off the ground.

It was in St Pancras, not King's Cross, for an accurate title.

Brendan Kavanaugh's Livestream, which included this incident, is only 37 minutes long. There's an earlier Livestream, he posted, where Adelina Zhang dances, and a Chinese man played the piano.
In short:
The man has done nothing wrong under UK law.
In long:
The first law is ‘members of the public do NOT need a permit to film or photograph in a public space and police have no power to stop them, including when filming police personnel.
The next thing that comes into play is ‘reasonable expectation of privacy’. In a public place ,like a park, u’d have a reasonably low expectation of privacy; whereas, in a private place, like ur house, u’d have a high expectation of privacy. (It is important to note, if u photograph from a ‘public place’ that captures a ‘private place’, this would be classed as invading privacy)
In a busy train station surrounded by commuters and tourists I doubt u can have much expectation of privacy.
Technically the train station is privately owned by national rail; however, all this means is that up to the point someone from National Rail tells him to stop filming, he is not committing a crime.
(Some stations do have bylaws, but this does not apply here)
After this, ‘intent’ and ‘decency’ would apply, which are huge factors in UK law.
Good summary but either you are Evan Edinger's script writer or you watched his video on this subject.
The police often say or do something that they think will cause them the least amount of work, which often means that the confrontation does not end in a fight.
A railway station is considered to be a private space under UK law you have no public right of access.
The same as with shopping centres

If you watch the entire video, you will see that at first, they were playing and dancing with him then suddenly this incident happened. The video is much longer.
A good example of the politicised police not doing their job.
Her colleague however did it perfectly. They went to him first and he just shrugged his shoulders and said 'you're in a public place', then the female officer seemed to go off on her own little mission
Not true at all, they weren't in a public place so can be asked to stop.
@@benabel7326are you stupid or what. A train station in the UK is a public space (as in most free countries)

Brendan is to be commended for his restraint. I'd like to see fatboy try this somewhere like Liverpool or Glasgow 😂
The police are actually railway police and not metropolitan police
After that he did more videos winding up the communist regime taking the piss out of xi, by calling him winnie the pooh!
Hilarious.
Let the music play...
And also he was sharing himself. He didn’t start recording them until they approached him so that’s not an issue, and then they tried saying he was racist, which saying they were communist for waving communist flags is not being racist, but of course they drop the race card to shut down conversation as usual
I think the worst part of this video is the fact that the british police went after him
Sure, why not. That clown succeeded painting all Chinese with the same brush. He cannot say that they are not in China anymore.
Fact is, Americans and the English veto not to stop the genocide in Gaz. There.
Anti CPC and Anti Chinese is not allowed😊😊😊
The Chinese man did play the piano because Brendon complemented him on his playing. Then the world went crazy
Can I just say how beautiful the portrait behind you is 😊 loved the video too
Here in the UK we don't have freedom of speech like the US but we have a watered down version, The new hate speech laws have been used to silence the public in certain circumstances.
Freedom of speech should not be freedom to abuse.
@@grahvis that’s subjective. When standup comics push the envelope, do you think the government should be able to warn them to tone it down?
@@BostonBobby1961 .
It depends on what you mean by pushing the envelope. Many racist jokes, years back, would be unacceptable today and most people would not consider them funny.

NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY IN PUBLIC IN ENGLAND SHOUTY MAN NEWTON LENG
Yes, the balance is currently a little off
Great video! It's so funny! That's Little Pinks for you.
I've neve heard of that being racist in my life
I did a deep dive these characters have very interesting backgrounds …
If this does not show how messed up the C C P is . Happy if they lost face because it is know on there ASS .
I watched the original video when it was first dropped and it was in insane and I’ve been following it ever since
It was probably not his previous filming at all - they wanted to go on the piano (donated by Elton John) and film a piece showing some of them and put it on national Chinese TV for their new year, and seems they had their own contract with the TV company. Brendan correctly insisted he could film for his livestream broadcast, as he does when whosoever arrives to play after him (he likes to join in and always turns the song into a Boogie Woogie duet sadly).
The “don’t touch her” will live on forever. 😂
Does anyone else hear the lady shout 'Don't shoot him, don't shoot him!'? Just after the shouty man starts.
Or is it just me?
I heard it too.
Yes that's definitely sus, but I think she was trying to say "don't film him" but her English wasn't good enough
"Don't shout at him" - translated from poor english spoken by a panicking Chinese lady.
I do believe she was referring to don't film, as the camera guy was moving their way.
Well done guys spread this video world wide and expose this behaviour as unacceptable.
Imagine if this happened in Texas. 😂😂
Excellent analysis of an odd situation!
You can now purchase 'DON'T TOUCH HER' tee shirts. Brendan is back at the King's Cross Piano and normality has returned!
One of the vendors is the shouty guy called Newton Leng. Don’t buy from him please….
Much better to buy the Keep Calm and Boogie Woogie, merch, from Brendan Kavanaugh!
Newton has the "Don't Toych Me" t-shirts. There ya go making $ off their attention seeking behaivior
Well hello fellow Kansans! Was just recommended you. Instand subscribe!
Sorry Brendan, not Brenda's.
The woman cop seems to have gotten away with her attitude so far. Hopefully karma will catch up with her soon.
It's St Pancras International, London
I think we have ‘freedom of expression’ as opposed to ‘freedom of speech’.
A subtle difference - you just can’t be too disrespectful to our fellow citizens. This clip , clearly, doesn’t even come close !

The bloke is annoying though. I would hate to have to use that railway station.
Exactly, if this had been Newcastle train station, that Chinese fella would have woke up strapped to a gurney on board a plane back to China.
Just like they would, or should with anyone else.
