However using what and how usually results in a more open ended question and a better response anyway. For instance, switch from "why is your job stressful ? " to "what is it about your job that's so stressful ?".
Wouldn't asking "why don't you get a supervisor position, also be like trying to come up with a solution?" I read that women want someone to just listen and not try and fix their problem. I am a little confused
