Thanks for your time Moe. I look forward to your viseos each Sunday. There is an app I have been using on some of my recent walks called Merlin. Its pretty awesome. It rexords sounds and will identify the birds it hears. I typically turn it on and just put it in my back pocket and its surprisingly good. Also, if you hear something and arent sure what it is, it will ping the bird on your phone and identify it so you can learn what each bird's calls are. I love it. Hope you have a great week my friend
Very timely video, I saw a Downie woodpecker this morning on a walk. This guy was super chill just 8 feet from me working on a tree. Very cool hobby we have.
Best time to see wildlife near me is in the afternoon when school children on field trips are gone. Until then the birds, and old buzzards like me, stay out of sight.
My compound here in Philippines is covered with birds. Lots of varieties. I need to start identifying them. Usually the only time I can see one up close is when a farm cat has seen it first. Too late for photos -- just in time for autopsy.
Good day of birding! Someone photographed a super rare Red-HEADED woodpecker on Saturday. I saw that bird maybe 10 years ago....last one I saw.

Nothing better than a walk in the woods/nature! Nice shots Moe!
Thanks Charlie. Love walking even if it isn’t as easy as it used to be. Cheers
@@MoeMorales Same here. Getting old is frustrating. I also have some cervical spine issues that make me nuts.
