Notes of the SDS from anime:
* The Homunculie (antagonists) from Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 anime and Brotherhood are each literally named after the seven.
* The Seven Warlords of The Sea from One Piece (pre time skip) each have personality traits similar to the seven:
- Boa Hancock - Lust
- Sir Crocodile & Blackbeard - Greed
- Dracule Mihawk - Sloth
- Donquixote Doflamingo - Gluttony
- Geko Moria - Envy
- Bartholomew Kuma - Wrath
- Jinbie - Pride
* All the girls in the harem series of Trinity Seven have magic star in the archives of the seven. Meaning that they are categorised in each of the sin.
* High School DxD is a harem anime about devils, angles, and fallen angels. And a fair few of the higher ranked devil hold the titles or rather names of the demons that represent the seven. For example, the demon Lucifer is associated for being a sin of Pride because of a self importance whish lead to him rebelling against God when he was still a angle and then fall from grace as a demon. Other names include Azazel, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Leviathan and so on.

The seven deadly sins are basic human instincts and the overaboundanc of either of them is the root of all bad deads. Orienting yourself on them helps to write more layered and diffirenciated characters. Their weaknesses and flaws are natual and do not repeat themself that offten this way.
