to carry out actin polymerisation and actin treadmilling process a number of proteins are required which are called as actin binding proteins because they bind to the actin. these are aso caled as accessory proteins of actin. these are mainly, cofilin, profilin, capping proteins such CapZ and tromodulin, actin nucleation proteins like formin and arp2/3 complex
