Anyone else notice that we (drone pilots) are obsessed with flying over water? 😆
Nice video: Polarization is artistic choice. Will eliminate or reduce glare on water surfaces if you are trying to see below the water surface, however, you will lose the cloud and blue sky reflections on the water surface. Nice to have the choice.
my hesitation with ND filters is putting it on. I’m not very graceful lol thank you for the tip about the gimbal. I should definitely look into buying these since spring/summer is coming. my Mini 2 needs shades 😎
I agree actually...this gimbal is so small so I’m always afraid I’m gonna break it haha...I think I’ll end up just leaving the polarizer on but not the ND/polarizer combo ones unless I really need it!

Yeap! The Mini 2 is perfect! I love mine so much!
About your comment at the end. I think the filter throws the gimbal motors off balance if it isn't placed on perfectly. Whenever I get that gimbal whine, usually adjusting the filter from where it clips into the gimbal solves the issue.

Hi Jordan, I'm new to this. When you say you are using ND16+CPL filter, is that the same as a ND16/PL in the amazon link you shared, or is it simply the CPL lens? Can't seem to find the ND16+CPL filter anywhere. Cheers

hi I just got my 4 pack and I have a nd 16 pl I notice some flare at the bottom corners, any idea why is causing that?
Do the round PL lenses vignette shots?
Nope they look really good, no vignette that I’ve seen so far.

Hello Jordan, i just bought a DJI mini 2 and thinking of buying the ND/PL 4-pack (ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND32/PL, ND64/PL). Do you think this is a good choice? Because I was thinking you can turn on and of the polarisation. greetings from Holland
Hello Mike! I would recommend getting a kit that has a separate polarizer as well. There are many times I prefer just using the polarizer without ND and I find I’m using that more than the combination lenses.
have you tried the cheeper sunnylife nd filters? please need na detailed review. 😅
I haven’t but to be honest I probably won’t unless they send me a set for free 😬
love my mini2 though eems the FAA is hamering down on things. also why do you record in the ultrawide setting? I dont mind it as I use ultrawide lol
I personally like to shoot wide, I like to see a lot in frame particularly for landscape stuff!

Thank you! Yeah I’m just assuming the 3 o’ clock would be 50% on these filters...tbh I didn’t read the manual thoroughly haha.
@@jordanvp thanks for the feedback, ur vids are really high quality man, i just bought a mini 2 and freewell ND 16 pl and ND 32 pl, i'm gonna be a lot on the sea this summer in Turkey, so it would be very sunny, what do you recommend to use 16 or 32?
Happy to help! I would use the ND 16 + PL...I feel like I lost too much dynamic range when going up to the 32 and shooting water and land in the same shot...best of luck in Turkey, that sounds amazing!
