Filipinos are sweet welcoming people....been there for 6 years studying and had to leave with tears for good 😊 .......till now unsolved puzzle for me is how do they dance their traditional dance without hurting their legs 😅😅😅
There are techniques in dancing Tinikling. One of which is to synch your moves with the music and those who move the bamboos must have impeccable timing too, in-synch with the music.
It’s so cool to hear that both Filipino and a lot of Latin American folk music have a somewhat similar sound because of the Spanish influence, but each country has made it its own and added new spins to the sounds and dances
Ed, you're a magnificient dancer. Learning different dances of the world in a very short period is so amazingly great. I am a Choreographer of Ballroom Dances and Folk Dances too (including Tinikling).
