Which Volume to begin first?
Families can begin with either Volume One or Volume Two depending on which they feel will be the best fit for their family. They don't need to complete one before the other. I think the best way to decide where to start is by looking at the booklists on the website and briefly exploring the music playlists on Spotify (which are free to access). Volume One has a younger overall theme than Volume Two. The music and books in Volume Two really can be enjoyed by elementary age children and beyond. Emma recommends Volume Two for families with older learners or families with more experience/ exposure to the Spanish language. Both volumes can be adapted for almost any age, Volume Two is especially flexible. While Volume One has weekly themed vocabulary/ suggested sentences, Volume Two features a verb spotlight (highlighting a specific verb every week) and invitation to read (something to write/post in your home each week) to help create a more Spanish- print rich environment.
Book Spines that I've Used with Volume One:

Thank you for this video I’m in the same position as you with my kids and I feel terrible that I haven’t made Spanish a priority for them to learn. I’m also new to Charlotte Mason I’m going to look into this again thank you!
Thank you for sharing that! I’m so happy to know that I’m not alone in this journey with Spanish 🥹
Thank you for making this video! So relatable and encouraging 💗
You’re welcome 🥹🧡
I appreciate you showing the books. Thanks so much for sharing this video.
No problem! Hope you found it helpful ☺️
Thanks for the review! I have been looking for Spanish curriculum reviews for our homeschool journey!! I hope you review other curriculum out there as well, as you do such a thorough job reviewing it.
Thank you! That truly means so much since this was outside of my element 😅 but thank you for your encouragement 🥹
Thank you for sharing this. I have been looking for a Spanish curriculum and this looks like the perfect fit. I've got too much on my plate for this school year so I'm strongly considering it for next year.
It’s been absolutely wonderful to implement in our homeschool. It takes away any stress from me and my kids have been picking up their Spanish vocabulary 🧡
This curriculum is just what I needed!
Good! I hope you find it useful 🧡
I love this! I'm not bilingual but my goal is for my children to be somewhat fluent by high school. (I want to learn as well.) We are currently using a combination of Charlotte Mason Simple Spanish, duolingo, and Spanish in our co-op. I'm definitely going to consider this for when we finish Simple Spanish!
Thank you Michelle and that’s amazing that you’re wanting to incorporate a foreign language in your own home 👏 I’ve heard amazing things about all of those resources you’re currently using 🙌
Spanish is my native language and I also struggle to teach my son Spanish. It’s hard when you have no one to interact in Spanish with. My son knows a few words and numbers 1-10 in Spanish but that’s about it haha I’m trying so hard to incorporate it to our daily living. Thanks for the recommendation. :)
I hear you. It’s so hard to find that middle ground with bilingualism when you don’t have community. Solidarity, mama. Though my family has been encouraging me to continue to implement more Spanish at home, unfortunately, we don’t see them as much I would like to 🥺
I feel funny saying this but it is true: This material could be so helpful for adults too! I am an older male who has studied Spanish and think this program and lessons would be great for me personally even though I know quite a bit already. Thanks for a very fine job of describing this material. ❤
I hear you! I thought the same, especially since some of us learned Spanish through conversation 🙌
Hi. Does it come with audio support so we know how to pronounce?
Thank you
What is the youngest learner you are using this with?
Como lo podria obtener en español
The picture books is what you have purchase right?
I purchase the picture books that are used during the entire use of the curriculum. The weekly suggested books I check out from my local library 💛
