Trash or Treasure? Can this Guitar be Saved or Transformed into an Octave Mandolin?

  • This guitar was found on the side of the road in the garbage - he picked it up and gave it to me to see what I could do with it. I think I have decided to turn it into an Octave Mandolin... crazy, right? I was inspired but some beautiful Octave mandolins made by Northfield instruments. It has some issues with the headstock, but other than that, it is in very good shape. Let me know in the comments what you think. Stay tuned for more videos to come in the series.

    Could you re-cut the headstock at the break… clean it up and glue it with the proper glue?
