      @@billybalentine8065 No, he's supposed to be one of the MX/SX racers in the US. I haven't read any rumors of who the MX2 riders will be for Triumph.

      @@baby-sharkgto4902 For an average guy like me, yes. A 450, I would pretty much agree, but for 250 there's still 10-20% bike that matters due to mostly power differences.
      Reliability also plays a role when it comes to a championship, so I hope Triumph doesn't have major problems with that.

      ​@@aaryansharma9334 I don't know about AMA SX itself, but I read this on their website: "... will enter the Monster Energy AMA SuperMotocross World Championship at the start of the 2024 season, with a fully supported factory race program established in the United States to run motocross operations under the all-new global Triumph Racing banner." My take is that if all goes well and as planned for Triumph we will see them in the normal AMA SX championship as well. I don't know if they mean regular AMA SX with this as well, because it says SuperMotocross and its a little different.

      It could be argued that all of motorsport has settled on the all conquering F1 Cosworth narrow included valve angle steep downdraught inlet DFV (Double (cam) Four Valve) engine architecture from the late 1960's.

      I've ridden a Yamaha and now I'm on a Honda. I'm happy with my Honda and I don't want anything else. That said, the suspension that comes with the Honda is not as good as in comparison with the Yamaha, but that is an easy fix. I am curious though for Triumph. It's always nice to see new brands coming to MX since it's a dying sport in my country. I hope this can bring some extra recognition for the sport.

      Thaiumph would be more honest, barely a single nut or bolt made within 6000 miles of the 'factory' in the heartlands of British manufacturing that they forever market.

      @@oliverstealth9649 Hinkley manufacturing and their production lines were shut down a few years ago, production has been shifting away from the UK towards Thailand with every new additional factory built in Thailand, it now stands at five.
      Since reestablishing itself as a British manufacturer, Triumph's once UK supplier base has now completely disappeared to the point that is now almost, if not completely non-existent.
      Ironically (or cynically) since doing this, Triumph has, for the first time ever added the Union flag to its logo and marketed its Britishness alongside its historical past more than it has ever done before.

      the bike will still be in development so without 500 models on dealer floors they cant race in the US because of the production rule, the MXGP series allows "works" bikes the US does not

      Triumph's intent was: 250 World Supercross, then 250 AMA Motocross, then field the 450 and go all races World and U.S. in 2025. They are on track to do that.

      @@SolusRap i would be shocked to see a Triumph line up at A1, from getting bikes to dealer floors so they are legal to getting a team semi truck setup and riders comfortable on a bike no on has raced yet all in two months seems impossible. Rushing things could end in a PR disaster if they do not even make the main. Personally i think any riders they have signed in the US like Savatgy will be test riders, not racers in 2024.
