Well said, I wish I could afford a Hoyt ilf, but at current prices.... better to be shooting something and getting/learning skills then "wishing on the sidelines." Old shooting mentor told proved to me, "it's not the gun."
With the excessive and extreme recurves at the same weight as a traditional recurve does add a few more FPS due to the extreme recurve returning back to its original shape after you release it. It’s also a smooth draw and release feels almost like a compound bowl and a cam system. Aloha 🤙🏾
I've heard that design is very well balanced and shoots well but to me I find it unattractive because it looks too much like a compound bow. As a hunting tool I'm sure you will be pleased with it. Bow hunting on Hawaii sounds fun! Good luck!
Aloha!🤙🏾 I understand that it’s definitely an unorthodox shape, it took me a bit to get used to it. The balance is there for sure. As for hunting it definitely lends to a more stable shot due to its weight. Our hunting is definitely unique due to our terrain and micro climates. Mahalo for the well wishes and comment!

Less talky talk, more shooty shoot.
Awesome

Curious if those extreme recurve limbs are faster than normal limbs (same weight)?
