I’ve come to the realization, in this one special concert, that Brian is indeed one of the greatest frontmen of our generation. Even with this band, his enthusiasm is so addictive. He literally opened up the floodgates with whole Lotta Rosie - and that and itself is a ‘drop the microphone’ moment where we all should just bow down and praise how great he is on the stage… And on the track.

Cheers
What a wild setlist
Love seeing Brian having fun!
They need to do more of their stuff like Strange Man and skip the covers!
so cool to hear brian singing so many great classic songs, and to hear some of the old geordie songs live so many years later. Brian kills it here, just the ultimate rock n roll singer, and you can always see he's having a blast on stage.
I don't think he ever thought he'd see those guys again after their last show.
He definitely didn't think within a year he'd be a millionaire, touring in japan with AC/DC.
Life is crazy for that man.
What a guy!! He spends time making the crowd enjoy themselves and makes an effort to make them laugh in between songs, not many singers do that!!
His voice is permanently stuck at acdc mode
As well as his body language.
Sometimes I can hear the geordie voice but then the acdc one gets in the way
He’d been the lead singer of AC/DC for 20 years by that point.
Yeah he had great range before ACDC. Doubt he has that range anymore.
What da hell happened to his voice 😳
Damn. No goodbye love?
My thoughts exactly
I think Brian is nailing it personally
Geordie's cover of "House of the Rising Sun" is my personal favorite Geordie song and also my favorite cover of the song itself. Brian really showed his range in that song. At times, buttery smooth, other times, an "AC/DC voice". Vic Malcolm's solo is just ridiculously good!
Incredible how Brian Johnson can seamlessly go from one vocal range to another and back again without any of us knowing.
Indeed. He is a freak.
@@jonginder5494 Thanks. I'm not even blowing smoke up his ass as it's clear he can't ever sing as good as he did while recording Back in Black, but what I said about his seamless transitions from chest (full) to head (falsetto) still rings true, despite the fact that over the past 41 years his tessitura has lowered and the raspyness of his voice has worsened. (with the exception of the For Those About to Rock album in '81 to rock and The Razor's Edge tour in '90-'91) But I have much respect for Brian Johnson. Besides: he's a miracle for not having looked after his voice and be in the his 70's still rockin'. Bon Scott lost that competition when he died; perhaps I'd feel differently if he'd lived another four decades.
When I googled Geordie and heard “goodbye love” I didn’t believe it was Brian singing it, his sound in that song is totally different to any song he’s sang for ac/dc. God knows how he can sing a full concert in his ac/dc high tone voice, if I try to sing one word like that it hurts....and doesn’t even sound remotely like him either. I’d love to know how he does it, and how did he find out he could sing like that because he never sang like that when he was in Geordie, or did he and I’ve just never heard it???
@@pauljamesarmitage5237 He sung in both styles in Geordie. look into their catalogue of the 1st three albums ('73-'76) where he sung most of the songs. It's true that it's not like Robert Plant singing Zep four as that was that was actually Plant's full voice; his voice is naturally high, especially before it started waning in 1971. But like Brian Johnson on Back in Black, Robert Plant would never sound that good again once the album was released.
@@Paolo8772 bon was notorious for being able to drink 2 bottles of whiskey before a show and not miss a note. He gargled wine in the morning to keep his voice "in tune". The difference is that bon sang with his voice and in a healthy way. He didn't have to try to sing how he did. Just during the screams. If he were still alive he would still be the best vocalist/frontman of all time. He was a touch too much for this world but his memory will always "ride on" :)
I've nearly finished Brian's autobiography and I've come to realise that after over 40 years Brian still doesn't believe he's the lead singer of the greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the World....
"Can You Do It" is my favorite Geordie track.
Un gran vocalista, con amlpio rango vocal y una sencillez inigualable. Es un grande.
My favorite front man, God bless him
Listened to one of those vocal coach critique videos of Brian's voice. She said it was incredibly difficult to maintain the voice control he does with his style of singing. Not surprising that it's been more challenging as he's gotten older.
I never even knew this happened! Cool! I'm reading Brian's bio now, and this is great!
I certainly didn't think I'd ever see Brian Johnson singing Toto. I'm glad to, though.
Очень здорово! Вторая часть концерта заметно лучше. Брайан крутой! Вывозит этих ребят .. супер ..
Damn his voice go Brian, this guy has just enjoyed life to the full
34:00 Hold the Line... Strange !
Pretty good even compared with the original by Toto
Brian Has one Voice and one Mode… that’s his AC/DC voice and mode all the time.. he makes all these classic rock songs sound like AC/DC songs
Finally a bright moment in 2022 💕
He had an amazing voice before ACDC.
Brian Johnson was absolutely a pirate in a past life
Brian Johnson singing “Hold the Line”. My year has been made
Wow, they decided to go for a Bon song. Would have been cool if they played some Brian rarity also, like something from Flick of the switch.
Geordie actually covered Whole Lotta Rosie before Brian joined AC/DC.
@@Thediamondduck11 it was Brian's main gas ⛽
Brian slaughters bon songs
would love a CD or a DVD from that show
Especially considering how much he has toured with ACDC up to this point and he's 54 who smokes
Excelente!!
Do you by any chance have footage similar to this where Brian sang Highway to Hell and Stargazer? or know how i could go about finding it?
A true legend…..Angus, Malcolm, Cliff and Phil were an great backing band for Brian
fantastic ,
Рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍
SUPER!!!
43:15 better than plant at his prime, Brian is a monster of a singer
Good, but not Plant.
We all love Brian, but comparing the two singers is just nonsensical. Robert Plant wouldn't be able to sing "Back in Black" as well as Brian, and Brian can't sing "Black Dog" or "Rock and Roll" as well as Plant.
@@Galogalog usually, I like people who look at things that way, but in this case, you're wrong. I'm floored that that other guy said it, cause I was gonna.
Listen to zepplin in the early '70s. plant just fucks around, slunks around, and feels his body, while barely emitting any sound, nevermind thee high notes that he's supposed to.
here's mid-50s Brian, 35 years of AC/DC under his belt, and he's beltin out Black Dog and Rock and Roll far better than anyone ever. it's a fact. show me plant that belts it better, and doesn't just fuck around like he typically does
@@ImperialRadioYT As much as I love Led Zeppelin, I have to agree.
@@spacejesus4747 not plant alright....way better than him
No Goodbye Love?
Top !!!!!! ...simplesmente fantástico.
Col tempo ha cominciato a cantare con ACDC e la sua voce ora è questa ma sia con Geordie che con ACDC è sempre un grande Frontman ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Brilliant
Ah man, I was hoping they'd do "Oh Lord"
1:29:45 Whole Lotta Rosie
Thanks for sharing 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿😊😊😊😊
Не,это уже АС/DC и только они.❤
Думаю -Ты великий , не нужно брать от великого.!!! Не прокатит!!!!
Read his new book!
1:15:35 can you do it
Why does this have so few views?
Old mates having fun. Great!
Super👍💥
🤩UP! Christine&Markku :D
I cant find it is shes a teaser here
Esto fue en medioi de la gira Stiff Upper Lip?
Crowd were fuckin brilliant on Rosie 👏👏👏👏😈🎸🎸😎
Seems like Brian’s lost his mid range over the years so it seems like he can only sing low or high
Austin Taylor no he’s just trying to sing differently since it’s not AC/DC
His voice got savaged by long tours with AC/DC.
@@pamelaciccanti6154 What the fuck are you talking about? Yes the band Geordie had a different style and he used some different areas of his voice in the original Geordie. But in this video, he's singing exactly the same as did with AC/DC in 2001 - and largely how he sings now. He's not making any alterations to the way that he's singing. Austin Taylor is right - Brian has lost some of what he had in the early years of ACDC and when he was in Geordie.
17:18 - 17:32 yu can hear what's left of his mid-range - that he doesn't use in ACDC songs
He sounds fine at mid range, 40:00 for example.
Geordie 4ever!
Wouldn't expect of Brian singing the TOTO song......
Or a Rainbow song. Crazy setlist. Amazing to hear these songs in his voice
I think i like this better than ac dc
It’s a shame they didn’t do the set in English.
すげぇレアだな笑
ブライアンジョンソンがTOTOて、笑
Did he do a TOTO song?
Gomen nasai. Hold the Line da!!
19:00 como se llama este precioso tema?
Since you been gone de Rainbow
Whose WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW by?
It is from Geordie.. Dek Rootham, Dave Robson
but Here's the best recording *
Alvin Lee :- > 'Wrong side of the Law'
Не знаю чё несут эти англичане и американцы, но мне понравилось
This shows he can't go back to his singing voice he had before joining AC/DC.
Originally he could sing went to acdc started belting out screams and hollers lost his voice his real voice not studio voice in mid 90s. This all he can sing now still better then most better then me. The people that say he's better then plant needs to put the bottle down
พูดมากจัง
the band makes it awful. this was a once-in-a-life-time kind of show, and the only performance was with fuckin twang-treble city here. shit...
Wow that was horrible, started bad then got worse
Sounds the same scratchy screchie winning every song
